Just to help you out, the reason the shrieker went off even though it was fully sourrounded, is because you used a skulk blockas one of the blocks which absorbs vibrations and sends it to any nearby skulk sensors

This video made me curious, so I looked up some of the Warden’s behavior. While his detection radius, be it sound or “smell” isn’t that big, he still knows where you are and will pathfind to you as long as you’re within 50 blocks of him. It actually explains how annoying he can be on some multiplayer servers. If the range at which the server loads mobs is smaller than his passive detection range, then he’ll effectively never despawn. Being close enough for the game to load him is close enough that he’ll always try to pathfind to a player instead of returning underground.

Not sure if you address it at one point but when breaking chests it would only be set off if the chest was next to, or on a sculk block. Otherwise full blocks or wool stop all noise and detection.

The reason it doesn't work is that the sensors work through blocks, no matter what if it's in range it'll activate and if the sensor is within range of a shrieker the shrieker activates

Surprised you threw away a diamond chestplate instead of enchanting the 2nd one and the ncombining the two for a super chestplate lol This one is cool in that the nether is far safer than the overworld lol Also surprised you don't ,since it's safer- collect extra obsidian, pop into overworld, throw a pearl, then go bacon into the nether and pop out , using the nether to get far closer(yes, speedrunners do that sometimes lol, but it works to stay safe as opposed to going thru the deep dark/traveling LOTS of distance) that entrance into the cave via water bucket clutch was ...STUPID- but also the most epic thing you've done LOL- TurtleNation Superhero landing! Shame turtles aren't in the deep dark, you could have grabbed turtle master which actually gives you enough health to escape - or even beat the Warden in a fight with enough other equipment. Your nether skills are REALLY good lol- I feel like Hoping for a a jungle world one at some point! - or, EVEN BETTER YETluke the notable style, you STARTING on the outer end islands- and surviving and beating the game from the end! You'd be the 2nd to do it after Luke

Great idea! I think you have to cover the shreeker and Skulk Sensors with wool instead of the chests. Definitely a very hard challange 😅 May I ask: Did you add some sounds? It was really good and gave the video an amazing tension

If you set off a shrieker and you spawn a warden, build up 25+ blocks. The range of the sonic boom is only about 20. (Also please name a cat after me!)
