I have done with hot milk, and butter and a tablespoon or two of cornstarch, it is almost the same process, it is also better in your comment

@@HeidiFac it's not true caramel when you start faffing around with cornstarch and milk it's a cheap substitute with subpar ingredients but better than storebought im sure

@@johnnyace1300 cheap ingredients? A lot of milk and butter are used, sugar of course, but it is your opinion, I am not going to last more than an hour glued to the stove stirring milk and sugar so that it turns into caramel. I respect your opinion, but I do not share it
