As well as the visuals, another thing I’ve noticed throughout the years is that the charting has gotten much better as well! It’s much smoother and in my opinion more fun than it used to be.

Most of the time, when I play older songs, I notice the patterns are strange, but also the fact that they are SUPER slow and have way too many notes. It may just be the VR type I have, but idk :D

Also I do for some reason find Final Boss Chan to be easy but with the tracking I have, and how heavy my controllers are, it’s hard to beat.

I purchased my head set second hand back in January and boyyyy. I am SO GLAD I never had to deal with Beat Saber 2019. The blocks had too much gravity and were too dense when sliced. It was hard to differentiate between what you had sliced and what was coming at you. I have MAD respect for you and those players who were able to work through it. And way to go Beat Saber software / design crew! This game is amazing! I am very proud of your work! 👏🏾 And thank you KZreadr for uploading this fine peice of history.

I discovered beat saber mid 2019, seeing the old default saber with lightning in the handle and old particles made me nostalgic, this remind of the time when overkill was the one o most popular map on the game

i think the only thing that's gotten worse over time are the actual sabers i preferred the older, darker sabers because in most expert+ songs, it feels like im being flashbanged with every cut

I hope its not only me that prefers the visuals of 2019 beat saber over the new versions. There were more particles, nicer sabers, better looking debris and even the text and menud were not oversimplified to hell. RIP old beat saber :(

It does look nice however the newer versions are better for tracking, lag, and for not getting in your face on harder songs lol

If somebody is wondering why from the 2018 to 2019 the combo had Jumped up it's because on the 0.10.0 the highest difficulty was expert so she played on expert and in 0.12.0 they added expert plus and in 2019(0.13.0) she played expert+ so there she had bigger combo

Is there a video of yours where you have your settings to get your gameplay to look like that? Like exact mod configurations? It looks so much better than the default look and it’s just so appealing to watch and I would like for my friends to see what I see in the game just like you

One thing that impressed me the most is how Beat saber’s graphics is improved tremendously. How did they make a game with flat/solid textures look better and better is amazing!

The fact it went from clean looking text before the alpha to alarm clock font in the alpha and back to clean text after

playing this on 2018 felt like a fever dream,you can basically say that if you play since 2018 or 19, you are a real OG

Injuat got my first vr headset yesterday and you make this shit look easy. I was losing left and right on easy mode but I still love it

Hi and welcome to the game, I hope you enjoy playing A few pieces of beginners advice 1. Hit the blocks I know it sounds obvious but try to swing into the blocks instead of just poking them as 100/115 points are based on swing angle 2. Focus on the blocks you are about to hit not the blocks you are currently hitting. This takes a bit of practice but you will find it easier to flow between blocks 3. Steddy continued progress is best. If you try to improve too fast you end up doing worse than if you just played whatever songs felt right, eventually once you get to know the game better you will be able to focus on training specific skills but this is advanced and trying this too early could do more harm than good

@@zsasz21 that’s the way to go, I hadn’t touched a single X+ level for a good while and after playing enough of expert difficulty I eventually worked up the courage to try X+, let’s just say I beat the song on my second try

@@zsasz21 I would also say play the campaign too & use the practice mode, either to slow down parts of harder songs, or speed up easier songs you already have down :) it's frustrating & takes practice but I'm starting to be able to do e+ songs now

The fun in Beat Saber is only truly felt at Expert or Expert+ imo. So be patient if u ever get frustrated and burned out. But personal experience, the most fun I have with the game was playing the modded songs created by the community. The game becomes incredibly fun if u just play the songs that you really love instead of what the game only offers ❤

This game went from strength to strength. It's mad looking back on how much it's changed!

dude how in the world do you move your hands that quick, lmfao jesus even on the index and running 120 FPS with my hand movment i can't even do normal songs on expert without missing a block, but damn you got skill!

2020 is definitely the best update

I personally wasn't accepting virtual reality games at all until beat saber arrived the stage and it blew me away from day one, the moment I played it at an event in my country and exactly after less than a month I got my hands a super pc plus the HTC VIVE and from 29th of May of 2018 I'm having fun to the max and still having fun and I'm so excited to hear that Beat saber is coming on the new PSVR 2, I'm so getting my hands on one for better tracking and visuals and for minimizing he noodles of wires.

비트세이버 갓겜... 정말 커뮤니티도 게임도 발전 많이한 듯. 참 보기에 이쁨 게임 보고 모딩하던 사람들 생각나서 소신발언 하자면 참 아까운게 비트세이버도 모딩이 정말 활성화되어 있는 게임인데(과연 한국에서도 그럴 지는 모르겠지만), 처한 상황 보면 개발진이 그걸 옹호해주고 싶어도 그걸 적극적으로 해주지 못할 가능성이 큰 게 좀 아쉬움. 법도 법이고 라이센스도 그렇고 관리하는 데 자원이 많이 들어가고 무엇보다 위험해서... 오픈소스는 힘들겠지만, 서로 퍼주는 그런 분위기의 환경에서 유저들이랑 개발진이 서로 어울리며 이거저거 같이 만들고 도우면서, 분위기 만이라도 유사 오픈소스인 개발진이 언젠가 된다면 정말 보기 좋을 듯. 콘텐츠 만들기가 편해지고 진입 장벽이 낮아지니 능력있는 사람들이 콘텐츠를 더 많이 만들고 그 콘텐츠를 보고 더 능력있는 사람들도 관심있어하고 굴러들어오는 선순환도 기대해 볼 수 있을 것 같음. 사람들 멀티만든거보니까 잘했던데 이상 유사 개발자의 헛소리였습니다 😋
