Gixxer Naked 250 is the sibling of Gixxer Sf250. It shares the same engine, chassis and most body parts. But, since it's a naked bike it does away with the faring which is replaced by a nicely designed tank shroud, a different LED headlight and a belly pan.
The for is also slightly different as it is slightly shorter than the ones on the Sf250.
The handling characteristics is totally different compared to the Sf250 though.. the stable composed feel of the Sf250 is replaced with a lively ( sometimes nervous) handling. This is partly due to the removal of some weight from the front since it's a naked bike. This is by no means a disadvantage in city traffic as the nimble handling and torquey engine is one of the best for City riding. And it's no slouch when you up the pace a bit as is evident in the video when you compare it with Honda's CBR250R. But, the fighty nature of the handling needs getting used to.
Conclusion.. One of the best City bike and a competent corner curver if ridden by a competent rider..

great riding bro. Are you running with stock tires? if so, do you feel that it slips sometimes?
I am looking to change the rear shock of my gixxxer 250 as it's too harsh over humps ( have tried all soft to hard settings), any suggestions for a possible replacement?

How does the engine smoothness and vibrations compare to the CBR250r?

We did feel a high frequency vibration on the Sf250 at really high engine rpm, but not on the Naked version. This might be due to the clip-on handlebar of the Sf250. Compared to Cbr250r, not much more vibration .
I am having Gixxer 250 naked model. My height is 5'11. Let me share my personal opinion abt what i feel. PROS : Bike looks sexy and beast. Handeling is smooth AF❤️ Low and mid range power is outstanding. No vibration at all. Sexy cornering. Torque is superb. CONS : Clutch is hard and uncomfortable. Gear is not smooth. My hands pain while driving for more than 10 mins(may be bcz of my height) Sitting position is not comfortable for rider and pillion both. 2 lakh price and No slipper clutch, no extra technology, no accessories given by Suzuki is heart breaking. NOTE : If you are planning to buy gixxer take a test drive for atleast 5 km. Check your comfort level and shifting nd all.

Drop a few more psi out the tyres than the recommended and it will take away that slight nervous feel, great handling bike for the money...

We did.. but as you increase the pace the nervous feeling is always there. That's because of the rear shocker not up to par. But, adding one step of preload and using premium rubber makes life easier..😇🤟

For which should I go for, Sf or naked. I really like sf250 but I don't know it's city characteristics, if the maneuverability of sf is good in city I will go for it. So please explain sf250 in city terms.

Both are good city bikes as they share the same engine. But, the naked version will have a slight edge in tight turns. Otherwise both are equally good.
