    I’m torn between the Karcher Xpert (commercial) & the Nilfisk p200. I’m a construction worker so cleaning the property down is a regular thing for me. The power on the p200 looks amazing from the video. This review has edged me over to the Nilfisk. 👌👍

    Same here. The Karcher HD 6/13CX is a whopping £900 but it’s commercial grade. See how much I need to keep away from taxman at year end before I decide.

    It's a really tricky decision isn't it, especially when you take the commercial angle into it. I think the warranty is only a year though, double check that but it's worth baring in mind. The Stihl pressure washers are Nilfisk in different dresses, I'm not sure if they are classed as domestic or trade but it's worth noting.

    I chose the Nilfisk 200 simply because it's build quality puts Karcher to shame .I measured the pressure on full power it gave me 213 bar.For it's power and superb build quality,it's unbeatable but and it's a big but in your case the Nilfisk is only for domestic use ,it comes with a 5 year warranty.If you use the machine in commercial properties your warranty is then totally void. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news mate.

  • @SuperchargedLlama

    @SuperchargedLlama

    @turbo3492 I know about the warranty, I decide to take the hit and just accept that it is void and I'll have to pay for the repair when they fail. The commercial units are so expensive that it's worth the hit. The equivalent Kranzle costs about twice this, if not more. If I was doing this 10 hours a day, 7 days a week then it would be worth it (although I'd probably go for the K7 or K10 as I rarely need the power this thing has - if you're doing patios etc then it's a definite yes for the big units).

    I have to say that the Grey 7 and 10 have a great reputation, don't they? And apparently if you buy it from Briistol Detailing Supplies you manage to avoid the Direct Hoses customer service lottery. Which is good. There's a new model as well I believe, the OR11 - seems to have replaced the AB9 I think.

  • @SuperchargedLlama

    3 ай бұрын

    That's a nice conundrum to have! I really like the Nilfisk P200, it's quite a lot more money over the P180 given the little extra you actually get, but the hose length is so SO good. Then there's the Ava, which I didn't know was available yet, it's not available direct, which is odd. It's not as powerful as the Nilfisk and it has a shorter hose....but it's more than powerful enough and you can also buy the extension hose if you wanted a longer one...plus the lance and nozzles are incredible. I think if it were my money I'd go Nilfisk on this one and just get a nice stubby gun to use with it, or the quick release adapter .

    was wondering, do you think the patio cleaner attachment was worth while for £80 I think it now for the "power" model, or just stick to the lance ? was also thinking of going a step down to the 180 model but dont want to regret it for a £100 difference.

  • @SuperchargedLlama

    @SuperchargedLlama

    3 ай бұрын

    £80 is steep for an accessory, isn't it? I thought there were different bundles available that includes the power patio cleaner head? Maybe that was in previous years, or maybe it's not the power one. The patio head is, I would say, definitely worth having as it's so much more efficient, you'll do a much bigger area far more quickly, but £80 is steep. If you've got a big patio then I think it's well worth the investment. The question of P180 Vs P200 is a tougher one. I like the extra hose length on the P200, but I also like the detergent tank of the P180, that's really cool.

Using it is hard work because you have to keep downward to get the best out of it. I have modified the patio cleaner now,I put a 2 pound weight on top of the tool so now it's a joy to use.

    A comparsion between the Nilfisk P200 and the AVA Evolution P90 would be interesting. I think that would be a fair review 200bar with 650 liters/h vs 730 liters/h with 160 bar

  • @SuperchargedLlama

    @SuperchargedLlama

    I don't think the P90 is available in the UK, but we did have the P80. There were a lot of issues with that model but I believe there's a v2 on it's way, so that would be roughly comparable. The P60 is too underpowered to make it fair, so I thought I'd just give a comparison between the different price points, rather than judging one Vs the other in this case. I did fit the lance and gun on to this, but I realised the Vario nozzle I have is for the P30-P60, I didn't want to cause back pressure issues on the P200 with those nozzles.

    @@SuperchargedLlamagreat then maybe we will see a comparison in the future :-) I need a new pressure washer but i'm not really sure what to get. At this time a was thinking maybe a AVA P80 or P90 because they also have 20 year warranty. Nilfisk would gave you 30 year but only when you buy it in specifics shops and also live in Germany, but maybe there is a way to get that warranty so then it would be a hard desition between AVA and Nilfisk. The third option would be a Kränzle 2075 or 2060 would be nice but they are so expensive and don't have that warranty options. Still they are build like tanks 😀

  • @_Graf.
    @_Graf.3 ай бұрын

    Im between the Kränzle k1050 and this Nilfisk. The Nilfisk is from data much more powerful (150 bar vs 130 bar and 570 l/h vs 450 l/h long term, not peak output). But I was reading in one review that the Nilfisks power is a lot lesser than they are writing, but in the review they are not writing if its lower than peak or lower than long term output. A test of the water per minute would be nice. Also the plastic quality is much cheaper on the Nilfisk and the connectors are out of plastic too. Here would be a deeper showing very nice. Otherwise great video!

  • @SuperchargedLlama

    @SuperchargedLlama

    You're welcome, thanks for watching. I'd say that if you can afford the Kranzle then I'd get that, it's a professional grade machine and the quality is higher, as you've pointed out. You're paying for that of course, and it depends what you want to do with it. I have no problems recommending the Nilfisk if that makes sense, it's easily the best domestic machine I've used, superbly well made and immensely powerful (it is more powerful than the Kranzle, and when you're cleaning patios, that's really useful). Unfortunately I can't make any further content as Nilfisk wanted the unit back - I had it for 6 months and absolutely loved it, I do really miss it except for the lack of stubby gun, which again is where the Kranzle is very good.

The cost of the premium 200 is as tested with the patio cleaner £600. How does it compare to the bigger Ava models which to be fair are still £200 cheaper than this Nilfisk but don’t have the power either. That's exactly the right sort of question to be asking I think - I've used an Ava P60 and, I think, a P70. They're properly powerful of course, but this thing is absolutely next level. It's very effective, but also more efficient too, so the jobs like the patio take anywhere between a half and two thirds of the time, whilst achieving a better result. That's pretty cool, I didn't realise that. Stihl branded ones are also Nilfisk.

    interesting, but for that money, I'd probably thinking about a kranzle, cause I;d need a stubby gun and foam lance anyway. Shame about the lack of stubby and poor snow foam lance, as it looks like a machine geared towards enthusiast level, but bottled it on the last run in.

    I can understand why you'd look at a Kranzle at this point. For the average member of public though, this ticks all the boxes in terms equipment - yeah, the foam bottle isn't the best, but you could get 3% PIR out of it, which should be enough for most people, and tbh it plays on the safe side I guess. Little chance of someone going mental with a TFR and causing massive chemical damage? For me personally it's the stubby gun that's the issue really (I say that, the foam bottle doesn't satisfy my needs tbh, not when the Ava one exists - I think the Premium one is the one they'll bundle with future models), I'm looking forward to seeing what the revised Evo P70 is like as I suspect that'll be the sweet spot in all this. Your summation that they bottled it does feel true to me as well. I was able to give them the feedback on the foam lance, so let's see what they do with that!

    @@SuperchargedLlama Its more a mixing bottle that you could use, but probably won't. Dont get me wrong, the motor on this is probably going to outlast a karcher, and the hose looks way better than anything karcher has(karcher hp hose is not flexible enough for my liking). I also use the patio cleaner as a car under-carriage cleaner. turn it upside down, but watch the pressure. Great in the spring for blasting off the road salt and winter grime :) I was disappointed that karcher discontinued their one

    @@peemick I am 💯 with you on the hose being great here, as well as Karcher being so silly for removing the undercarriage cleaner. I can only imagine they just didn't sell enough of them to make it viable.

    It was interesting and i did enjoy it 👍. I find it odd that each PW review i watch, theres always a negative, usually the cannon, but if its not that, it's a short hose, or an unbraided hose, or storage or something else..... there doesn't seem to be one that is goldilocks, not that ive watched a review of. And im not including the shite reviews that are just sales pitches 😂😂. All the best. 👍

    That's an interesting point. I guess I'm always looking to make something balanced when it comes to reviews, so I look to find something that isn't perfect. Sometimes it's all too easy to find them. I'd say the Ava P57 Easy is the most complete pressure washer you can buy at the moment though, it's a 9/10, verging on 10. The only negative I can think of is that it's not an induction motor.

    @SuperchargedLlama thanks Adrian. The lack of an induction motor is probably not an issue for me, I use my PW once per week, so when my one does finally fail, I'll look at that Ava you refer to. BTW, I was not having a dig at the video, it was aimed at the manufacturers.

    @SuperchargedLlama yep, that's the type of sales pitch that is of no use to the consumer. Having said all of the above, most of us don't need to spend huge amounts, we just want to clean the car and, aren't too fussed by lots of features, just a basic machine that does the job is good enough. My K3 does a fab job, yes it has faults and isn't ergonomic, but it's cheap and works. Cheers Adrian, top fella!
