He's getting up there in years and has lost a step. We're not paying players for what they've done We're paying them for what they will do. This is the free agent approach needed.

I projecting under 5m for Byard (3 years 18m, 10m gauramteed) because so many Safety are on the market and with strong safety draft class.

I have very good feeling about the Bears. We should beat Lions 2 times, we almost beat Packers without Jaylon and in Green bay when it was must win for them. And we should beat Browns in Cleveland. Those are all playoff teams.
If signed he will probably be the starter until the projected drafted rookie gets up to speed.
