Just tried this on my 3.5 - 4 month beard, not done much for me unfortunately like other guys on here. I have salt and pepper beard, quite corse despite using dedicated beard shampoo/ conditioner, beard balm, beard oil, boar bristle brush etc. Must just be unlucky. Will try the coconut method again though in few weeks 👍

You can also you other methods of mixed oils and leave for 20 mins hot..no matter how just keep it hot for 20 mins...also try every week for a month and drink extra water per day in this time to see if your body has been laking water for beard health.

Could one do the same thing using their preferred beard balm or oil in place of the coconut oil? Do kids ever say "It's Santa!" when they see you! I guess it could happen to most guys if they have whitened hair. "Always (whiskers) out! Cold air makes them grow" - Miracle on 34th Street.
I'v just added this to my beard routine and it works an absolute treat! This is the most helpfully beard channel I'v come across on KZread so far. Thanks for taking the time to make all your videos!

Best tip ever...beats any product! i never had so soft beard! but so soft i cant feel diference between my beard and my hair! Keep the good work Bruno...great advises!
Thanks for the advice George! Never really maintained my beard but it’s getting longer and this will work great! You the man.
Hey Sultan, I recently discovered your videos and I gotta say, I really enjoy them. Thank you so much for all the helpful tips and tricks. Please keep up the great work!
I have been using coconut oil for many years but never quite the way you say here but I believe it will work. I went to a barber just a couple of days ago and had my beard trimmed for the first time professionally and he commented on how healthy my beard was. I'm going to do this procedure now, thank you so much.
thanks for sharing these kinds of stuff for free. really appreciate it
I've seen a few videos on hydrating a beard, I really like this method better than all the others. Thanks so much 🙏
Thanks for this tip George! I've done this two times now, and made a video this last time while doing it. A healthier beard is a happier beard!
you are a gem that provides great insight for free
One love OG! You’re the best
The king of letting the beard flow n grow 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I needed this! Thank you George 🙏
Thank you for the tip. Can't wait to try this.
Wow im so glad i found you. I've done the coconut oil thing twice already and cant wait for the next session..Because of you i wont shave my beard like i always do after 9 months to a year. Ever since i was a kid i wanted a zz top beard like yours and i get frustrated. Mine is kind of a slow grower but i can grow a full beard non the less. For some reason my chin grows slower than the rest. But im watching all your videos and think you're great. Thanks for all the tips and if you ever want to get rid of the old oil bottles and Baum cans im your man.lol i just like to collect things and ive found some awesome wood beard combs i love so thats my new thing to collect. Rocky mountain barber company has some awesome very well made combs. Thanks again for everything .
Did it last night. Awesome. Definitely adding this to my regimen. Thanks for the tip SoS.
Did it today for the first time. Awesome - I need to work on my beard, because I did the last few years many things wrong. Thanks for guiding.
I will try this tomorrow sir. Had my beard for about a year and a half now and I'm just trying to find good techniques to help maintain my beard. I use coconut oil but never heard of a plastic cap and hot cloth for 10 minutes. I will definitely try it. Keep up the good work and great advice. Beard on brother.
thanks George! i am going to do this on my next wash day, bless you and thank you
That’s s wonderful tip! Thank you very much. My curly beard is first getting some length to it and could use this treatment.
Great looking beard and thank you for passing on the tip... I have course hair so this should help.
Tried it last night. I've got lots of coconut oil on hand for both my home made soaps and beard balms, so had all at hand. Love the results!
George this is my favorite tip you've ever given. I tried this last night and it worked amazingly well. My six month beard felt SO WEIRD after taking the plastic off, all crunchy and strange. But after a cleanse and condition it really is so soft! Thanks for the tip. I have a reddish, very coarse, pretty curly beard, and this has been the best advice from you that I've taken!

That means your hair is probably protein sensitive when you have that reaction from coconut oil.
Great Information Thank You for your Advice !
Just tried this today, my beard looks the best it ever has. Super soft healthy sheen. Many thanks 🙏
Beautiful beard!!
Sultan, you're an artist 👍👍👍👍
I made a video about coconut oil about 2 years ago and I still use the product once a month since then. Works very well. Great video.
I will try it. Thanks George.
Great video Sir! Thank you!
Worth giving a try !
Extremely informative.
Just did this. Wow! Can't wait to give it a few days to see how long the softness lasts. 👍
Gonna try both hair and beard conditioning. Thank you Gary Bailey 💪🏽
TONS of value. Thank you!! :)
I have a curly and rough beard and one day I eventually started using Coconut Oil instead of Beard Oil and that helped perfectly. So Coconut Oil is in my daily usage since then. This technique I only used for my hair, gonna try it on my beard now :D
Great tip! Just bought some homemade Pine Tar soap on ebay. It only has pine tar, aloe, glycerine and olive oil in it. Really like the smell of it. Have been using coconut oil about once or twice a month, well have to try this method.
Great content
I've always done with coconut oil only. But I'm definitely trying this one out tonight!!! Awesome Bruno...🙏🏽 🍻
Thanks!
I'll try this today, thanks.
Brilliant thanks for sharing
Thank you for the tips
WOW! I'll try!
Cant say ive tried this method but I do put coconut oil in my beard once a week at bedtime and wash it out the next morning and that has worked great. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks! Will try this
Thank you for the advice..
Wow good , cheers man,
Thanks. I'm trying it now.
Great beard big man👊🏾👍🏿
Thanks george!! It worked like magic on my dense and ruff bedard.☺️👍 Kuddos Man.

Great Beard! Great tip!
Hi George. I know this video is 3 years old but I was watching it the other day and took your advice. I've done the coconut oil process with the plastic cap and hot water towel. It worked fantastically! It's gotten so soft. I'm going to recommend this to my friends.

Did you put the oil on damp or dry beard?
@sciencesleuth4781

@@antoniojo1500 Damp.
I use a coconut hair conditioner every day (we are very dry and cold here right now; I mean cold), applied after a shower and just leave it in.
Thanks for the info on coconut oil.
Thank you.
Works great
Will do this to my hair 💆
your beard is noticeably shiny and full btw after the treatment.
Thnx
That's interesting. It's seems like we have to deep condition, wash, and oil, but omit using any conditioner durring our shower in this instance. It this true?
Gotta love the beard wiggle 😂❤
Damn, that's a great soft beard!
I found that using a small eletric blanket works well, other then a hot wet towel.
it would be great for you to create a bumper to come in when you say, "stay tuned".
Well thats interesting. I would have thought you would wet the beard first to pre-hydrate and open the follicles . Have to try this with my course black/grey beard. This technique would not dilute the oil. Great. Thanks Sultan.
thanks gandalf

Underrated 😂
That helped. Can't wait to try it. Thanks. First one with a real beard that knows something.
VERY handsome beard!!!
Interesting tip. Have I got a knee slapper for you, when I was first growing a beard at age 19, I didn't have any other oil accessible and so I went for the coconut oil. I melted it down and rubbed it into the beard, felt and looked great. Then I went outside (thinking it was a good idea) suddenly on the tram I give myself scratch (itch) ...and the coconut oil had solidified... doh! haha! And so there was a blizzard coming out of my beard. Obviously had to catch the tram home and quickly rinse it out and style again before meeting my date xD
instead of a hot rag could you also use a hair dyer?
Hello again. Thank you for the reply. I need some advice again with your expertise please. I am headed to the beard championships in richmond va this year and i need some grooming advice. I really need my beard to be at its fullest potential. My beard is about 10 inches, but i notice a lot of my underbeard seems to curl up back towards my neck which i think takes away a bit of its density at the bottom. I want the bottom to be more full and i just wonder how to permanently train the hair underneath to hang straight instead of curling back up towards my neck. Thank you again.
Can you recommend a beard color to go all white ?
interesting... can you use liquid coconut oil? or does it have to be the solid form?
I've started growing my beard again and it's got to a decent length now, but whenever I use beard shampoo and conditioner, it makes my beard go out of control. No idea if it's just me, but doing this makes it look worse than just leaving it and just applying oil/balm after drying it. Therefore, I've had to stop such a routine.
so there's no need to add conditioner just, wash out the coconut oil, correct?
This worked crazy for my beard, my beard is way softer than ever before. Thank you so much sir ❤️
I only use warm water after and use cold water rinse...not a wash after hot oil..
What about for people in the welding areas will it work for them as well
Whoa I really want those moustache
I tried this out earlier in the day but I can’t feel any difference in texture and idk why but I may try it again in two weeks but maybe add on another 10min hopefully it softens up
Darwin award...ROFLMAO!!! You crack me up
ive been using wrong. used it as beard oil this whole time. thank you beard god for redirecting me!
LOL, the Darwin Award!! That was excellent! Definitely had me rolling.. More of these subtle liners in your videos would be great :) On a more relative note, yesterday I doused my just medium beard with coconut oil and combed it for maybe an hour. I'm fresh off the boat to actually working towards vigilant care for my beard (about a week and a half). I think I'm fairly lucky with my beard genes, some s curls and more loose Q's in my sideburns and jaw line are what I see as my main problem. Your videos have already given me good insight. Thank you! I haven't been able to find a video on youtube that definitively answers the question of how often is it safe and productive to comb and brush your beard. Can one come as much as they please? Can one comb dry with large toothed woman's hair brush or large tooth combs? Also, was it a mistake to leave coconut oil in my beard for a long period of time? I rinsed it only, after about three hours in my beard. Still haven't washed it yet with Bronners (will buy another soap soon).I'll definitely use the conditioning method you explained in this vid next :) I'm hoping this comment isn't too incredibly long for an answer.. (My first comment ever on youtube!) My main question here is the combing/brushing rules I haven't found a thorough answer to what they are just mixed tidbits. P.S Also have been enjoying your motivational talks, I like your presence!

Gray Bailey have you heard of using neutrogena t-gel for beards? i've been using it on my head for 20+ years, seems to keep flaking and itching away, i just wonder if its safe on the face? i've not been able to find any answers to this question and your insights are HIGHLY regarded
