BEAR IS BACK ~ Her second British Dressage show

Fear not, Bear's jumping/eventing career is not over. However, she is turning her hoof to some pure dressage over the winter months. Let me know if you enjoy watching these dressage vlogs.

ebba it goes up in levels of difficulty, and dining movements each time. They all can include various circles and Serpentines Start off at *Intro* Walk Trot *Prelim* Walk, Trot canter, *Novice* Rein Back, Lengthened arises *Elementary* Medium, collected and shoulder in *Medium* extended, pirouette half pass travers *Advanced Medium* half pass zig zag, flying changes, 8metre circles *Advanced* (PSG, inter I and II she Grand Prix): Passage piaffe Canter pirouettes more changes , I.e tempi changes That’s The movements that can be added to the test each time but there is lots of different tests in each level and they don’t always include those movements 😀 hope that helps slightly lol

Uhhh I know that you asked this a year ago but intro is just has walk and trot and a couple of circles that sort if thing then prelim is the same just with a couple of circles of canter in each rein then novice is basically the same as prelim but has medium trot and some times medium canter.Elementry is then has more difficult movements such as rein back I’m pretty sure and walk canter walk things and maybe ebpven keg yielding?!Im nit really sure after that as I’ve only gone up to novice!

I like dressage vlogs, but I find the test itself more interesting if there is a voiceover or some commentary written as you go. Doesn't have to be very educational or high brow. Bear is a star as always! I don't understand why novice isn't the easiest test... I mean, it's called novice, so for someone not experienced...

whoo well done!! I have a question, you have been following it for a while. From the Netherlands :-) Thank you for the nice videos !!! Competitions are quite different over here. My biggest question is do you ride your ponies among the "big" horses or is it a different class. Here you can ride ponies until you are 18, but then you have to ride with adults and most people switch to big horses. We are allowed to competit with ponys but actually never gets nice points, that's why almost nobody does it. especially not in jumping or eventing. I've been wondering for a while how things are going there. please continue with the nice videos and i hope you can give me a reply

79.2????? And you complained about that??? OMG. I have to say that UK dressage judging is much more egalitarian than here in the US. There is no way a pony/horse with average gaits could score that here. At this point, they need fancy Warmblood gaits to get a 7 on anything other than a halt--and even then, the halt includes the trot-up to the halt, so without fancy gaits, even that's hard. My cobby 15.1h draft cross mare could put in a nice obedient test with a high degree of accuracy and never scored over 64%, even in a schooling show. Makes it hard to want to do it.

I wouldnt call her an eventer 😂 but good jb No hate just my opinion ⬇ Never the horses fault in the wild horses would not naturally express these dressage movement's and would not naturally carry a rider it is our job as the rider to correctly teach the horse , there is no such thing as the horses fault
