Hey man I’m glad your changing your style, I recently started carving and used your $40 bear as kind of a template, ppl loved them but I wasn’t happy, felt I could do better and have been expanding and using other inspiration like yourself and Ryan cook. Keep up the good work man

Congrats on the 8 thousand , I was in just over a 1000. I'm in Alberta, a cancer survivor, and a new Carver. I Found your previous videos after my 1st Carving, which I did without looking at any KZread's. It was a Northern Pike, very basic yet as gotten many compliments this summer at the cabin. I can't wait for your next video to see what I am Lacking in tools ( Which is most) . What I realizing is the eyes really help to make it . Mine look scary on my rendition of your old bear version lol. Gotta start somewhere.....I just wish I had larger wood !

Eric bear looks awesome. You got me carving dude, selling them too and I’m not half as good as you. I can’t wait for tool video. I bought a finger sander that is Trash dies every time you put a little pressure and please throw something in there about you were grinding disks or it looks like you use a backing pad, I use a cheap one from Harbor freight it breaks about every two carvings can’t wait to see your video, also how about time frame do you let a carving dry before painting or do you go right into painting and sealing, your my only Tudor!!!!

Erick, I've been following your videos for more than a year. But I have a question for you, what do you use or what is the name of the material you use? to protect the piece of wood, and how many times do you have to apply it in the dough to seal the piece well ... I started working a year ago with the wooden bears. The materials in the workshop where I work change a lot. They confuse me. which is the sealant and the one that makes the piece shine. and how many quantities have to be mixed for a good result. thank you my friend. Saludos desde COLORADO
