Try a shur grip I think it's spelt from 3 rivers. I used it on my montana and it was great.

Do you still get pain between the thumb and pointer finger with that grip? On mine I feel all 50# of pressure on that spot when drawing..

Shur grip is really thin rubber so it likely wouldn't help with hand pain.

I just got a montana and the indented spot on the grip that sits between my thumb and pointer finger puts allot of pressure (50# bow) when drawing back. I really want to fix this issue as it makes the bow uncomfortable to shoot. Either padded grip or reshaping the bow.

This is my heaviest bow in my collection at 55#, I couldn't draw it back comfortably at first and had to work up to it shooting my 45# and 50# bows for a week or so everyday. I think the combination of the thin profile of the grip and heavy draw creates more pressure on that spot on the hand. I put 55# limbs on my Martin take down the other day for comparison and nowhere near the amount of pressure on my hand. Maybe try the padded grip first, I would be wary of reshaping this bow considering how thin it is.

I had some soft felt like material and I cut out an oval shaped patch and stuck it on that area and it seems to work pretty well, no more pain.

8:00 yikes. That crack in the glass seems a bit worrisome since the bows basically new.

omg! good catch! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out. I'm not sure if it was there originally or if it happened after I shot it.

It's likely from where they cut the sight window out from the glass laminate. It's likely safe but still makes me a bit anxious. Worth sending a pic to bear archery and asking if that's normal or safe if not an it's new less than a year old you might get a new bow out of it. Never know.

You could repair the fiberglass in that spot then cover it up with a nice grip if it becomes an issue

This is what i wanna do. I returned my montana cuz the fletchlings were tearing up my hand. Bleeding all over tge place. The leather was already wearing out first day. Garbage
