You can be a great guy to hang out with and a terrible leader at the same time. We can't re-elect Barack as POTUS, because Barack believes in the term limits he's reached and wouldn't violate them, would rebuke congress if they even thought about removing term limits. However, if Dems get a trifecta (POTUS & both houses of Congress) in 2024, I think it is time to address the cheating republicans did to stack the SCOTUS at the end of Barack's term, and if we can't impeach and get rid of the two insurrectionist SCOTUS, we should enlarge SCOTUS by two seats and perhaps Barack could be persuaded to fill one of those. But in some ways, Barack is doing what Carter did after leaving office; doing more good for USA and the world while out of office, now that he is not fettered by Congress, than he ever could while in office.

I deeply regret that I didn’t appreciate President Obama as much as I should have while he was in office. I wasn’t much into politics, and living in a red state, I listened to a lot of people around me instead of just listening to his speeches, and paying attention. The first time I began to realize how wrong people were about him, he gave an Easter speech I actually listened to, I thought it was very nice, but in the comments, people were so ugly. That was my first dose of politics and how different perceptions were. I became a big fan, after that.

This are my exact feelings. I didn’t like many of his policies, but I appreciated Obama as a person. He was respectful, professional, and intelligent. I feel like Trump and his team made some great policy decisions, but he was brash, embarrassing, and spoke with such limited vocabulary (perhaps on purpose), that he ended up not really saying anything.

DJT would never hike anywhere, he can't handle walking down a smooth ramp. They'd put him in macho camo, film the meeting at the bottom of the mountain, then airlift him to 1-2 stops along the trail for more photo ops, and then airlift him to the foot of the glacier to declare mission accomplished for the camera. He's an excellent speaker. Obama. I dislike a lot of the things he did as President, but I highly doubt I'd be able to throw a tantrum in his presence. He's very calming and amiable. It's almost scary.

I agree with you. I was excited when he became president, even though the things he was involved in and things he passed into law had me wonder about him. I did learn that he had a good speech writer. And his presidential building being build, hm don't no about that either!

No it wouldn't have; unless it charged the POTUS, they would have let Bear demonstrate that his advice in how to handle bears really works for the camera. But no doubt the Secret Service had hiked the whole area thoroughly before letting Obama go in there, so all of the wildlife had long fled the area before Obama set down there. I wouldn't put it past Secret Service marksmen to stop a real threat with explosive rounds, so that even if they didn't hit a vital spot there would still be enough damage to drop a threat BEFORE it could reach the POTUS.

Somehow, I missed hearing about this episode when it first came out. President Obama was a joy to watch here. He and his family are such great role models !!

Which president after him or even recently before him could have in depth, educated conversations with Bear on climate change like Obama has done hear. It’s like the education, the mental aptitude, and social skill is completely lacking outside of him.

I missed him a lot for 4 years.

He wasn’t my choice and I disagree with quite a bit of policies. BUT I love the man, his ability to express passion that encourages so many; and I would absolutely LOVE to sit down and have lunch with him. That conversation would be so epic. Getting to discuss different ideas, trying to find middle ground and trying to understand each other on a personal level. Would be a moment I would absolutely cherish for the rest of my life! If only the rest of the nation was open minded enough to look through the differences. To try and find middle ground and then come together to tackle the issues at hand. If we could all put away our differences long enough to have a heartfelt conversation with those who we disagree with to better understand each other. We would all come to the realization that the vast majority of the country gets along great and their differences aren’t that major and they don’t keep people from living their lives, shoulder to shoulder with people with varying viewpoints and our neighborhoods/ communities come together for the greater good. Unlike what the media would like you to believe. Because by doing that they create division amongst people who had no problem with each other. The media is the real Devil when it comes to politics and I hate it! So get out there, shake hands with your neighbors, get to know them and come together to help solve issues within your neighborhoods and communities!! Love you President Obama. I hope life after the White House is serving you and your family well and are all in great health!! Again, we disagree on quite a bit but I have mad respect for you as a man, a husband, a father, a public speaker and I respect every single person who has been voted into office! While you were in office. You were so engaging, so well prepared and you made it look effortlessly. Because you were always sharp as a tack and a class act while in office and after!

I feel the same way! Wholeheartedly! I've been both a Republican and a Democrat in my life, yet I'm the same person. Agreement or disagreement doesn't have to divide us.

I love President Obama. The fact Bear had his wilderness knife out like that must of freaked out the secret service. This was a great episode.

Guess Secret Service gone over this scene with Bear and told him the does and donts handling that knife.

Few presidents would do the things Obama has done for entertainment. This with Grylls, comedians in cars, Ellen, Fallon the list goes on. Such a great guy with humour, morals and a need to do the right things for the world even if he didn't always succeed, He left the world better than he found it which is all that matters.

Omg...it's so good that you prayed for the President, this make me respect you even more.

First off, he’s still running things, he’s just doing it from behind the curtain. Why do you think they moved down the street from the White House? Biden couldn’t run his self running watch- so if you think things are going well right now- gas up, food up, housing up, utilities up, complete debacles such as Afghanistan’s exit, the complete chaos on the border, and brink of WW3 to name a few- then by all means keep voting blue.

WOW. My sister, an African American, has lived in Alaska for over 30 years teaching music. During my visit to Alaska, we flew up the north slope of Denali and landed on Ruth Glacier (10 feet of packed snow and 300 feet of glacier ice). We saw a small avalanche of Glacier ice. We threw snow balls. We got to see the top of the north slope which is only visible 3 to 4 times a year - it was not covered by clouds. I fell in love with moose as we saw a bull moose who was as tall as the roof of a school bus while touring in Denali Park. If you want to see what God created which man has yet to touch visit Alaska.

Coolest President ever. Love him.
