As a Swiss - and equally terrified of high mountains, danger and physical exertion as Miranda - I LOVED this video, such a brave woman, never losing her sense of humour, and ‘finding’ Bear to be a wonderful guide with a great comprehension of Miranda’s woes - I had to interrupt frequently because i laughed so loud and hard :) Thank You for this beautiful job!

I enjoy these series with Bear Grylls, but this has to be my favourite. Miranda was fantastic, I felt so proud for her - the fact that she kept her sense of humour speaks volumes about her.

I LOVE how, in the helicopter, Miranda is expressing her fear, saying how silly it probably seems to Bear since he does this everyday, but he’s not teasing her, he’s not making fun, he just holds her hand and tries to reassure her.

When the screen dimmed into dark as you lit a fire, I caught a glimpse of my reflection smiling. I thought "why am I smiling so much?" and it's because this video is absolutely enjoyable to watch and I'm so proud of you Miranda (and Bear).

Such a sweet episode. I love Miranda’s courage, positivity, and openness with her own struggles and vulnerabilities. Her humanity is touching and she is such a beautiful soul. Bear was also so wonderful in his gentle assurance and support- a true guide and friend. Very sweet how she referred to him as her “hero” :) . What a wonderful inspiration!

" that's basically a flying lift" 😂 i love her! & he is such a patient, gracious man. Lovely how he describes his intentions and purpose of this adventure for her,& i like how he is careful not to prejudge, recognizes her value,& has passion for sharing this with her. I think she will make him laugh and learn things as well. Enjoyable leading and teaching, growing and watching others grow and stretch ❤

He is just so utterly sweet and totally supportive of her. She was a trooper and proved that humour can get you through a lot of tough times. I would have liked it to be a few days though...with a bigger tent. Thanks for posting. : )

The absolute chemistry between them was so wonderful. Friendship or romantic, these two were having fun in another life. I wish we had a second episode of them. Most I’ve seen bear laugh and give in to the fun.

Three cheers, MIranda! Walking in snow is HARD! Walking on broken rocks is even HARDER. Even if you run on a track, this will wear out your leg muscles in no time. Moving around in a small tent is difficult when you have spent the night sleeping on the ground and you are stiff. Coping with the cold is really draining. Jumping from rock to rock on the second day, more broken rock underfoot, slippery ice... And managing to persevere and (mostly) keep smiling- amazing! That is not even mentioning her fear of helicopters and heights. I didn't believe her claims to be fearful, given her choice of career, but she is more than brave, she is deeply tough!

best line of the whole show - do you want some of my bottom kindling. what a brilliant combo these two were. great programme

I applaud the camera guy filming this whole experience for the people sitting at home. And the drone shots are spectacular. 🧗🏽‍♂️🏔🏕❄️🌨🌬💨🔥🥶

Wonderful watching expert ex SAS and Chief Scout Bear Grylls and comedienne/writer Amanda Hart work as a team. The scenery is remarkable and breathtaking. The commaradery, jokes, awkward moments between them is very entertaining. The support and motivation Bear provides Miranda is superb and carefully encourages her to face adversity. Truly courageous and remarkable man. Love Miranda's determination and commitment to overcome her fears of heights and small spaces. Love the bit where Bear pulls out the padding from Miranda's trousers to use as kindling for the fire! LolL! Very enjoyable and inspiring to watch. Thank you.

His attitude is so calming and positive; he’s the best guy to be with for tackling these fears. I’m sure that’s what kept her so calm and relaxed in such a high stress environment. Now I wanna go in the Swiss alps (with Bears obviously 😏).
