This is so wild! He was just having a picnic on your kitchen floor, haha! I just have to say, I think the way you handled it was absolutely remarkable! You stayed very calm, and were extremely patient with him, while still being so kind to him. By you giving him the freedom to make his way out on his own time, I believe that was the best way to keep the situation relaxed, under control and to keep everyone safe, including Smokey the bear 🐻. And I think that is a really beautiful thing 🤍

Why were they shocked? I have a bear that comes through my yard almost every night. He doesn't bother anything, he's obviously on his way to somewhere else. Tried fencing, he flattened it. Dogs don't even say anything to him anymore. When they did, he just sat and stared at them till they stopped. This is bear country, always has been. Been here almost 7 decades so far, and the bears have been here much longer than I have. We've also got bobcat, fox, raccoon, possum, porcupine, deer, cougar, and a whole truckload of other kinds of animals that have always been here as well. When you live in bear country, you should never be 'shocked' when you encounter a bear. It's that simple.

The bear is definitely not scared.. I would have to spray him with bear spray because he became way to comfortable... Electric mats and bear fence is a good idea.

I thought it was the bear that said, he's lookin at us now. That or I was imagining if bears could talk, they'd sound similar.

Not sure.. trying to intimidate it is good, but sudden movements could cause it to attack. They remained calm, which is good.

В России, если медведь начал лазить по домам - его отстреливают, потому что если он нашел дорогу к человеку и человеческую еду - будет лезть пока кого-нибудь не задерет. Либо его нужно хорошо отпугнуть, если живет рядом в лесу, в воспитательных целях, чтобы на его место не пришел другой наглый медведь. Если медведь теряет страх перед человеком и ищет возле него еду - это все, он и в лесу полезет на человека и убьет, и у таких медведей еще и нюх бывает отбит дихлофосом, потом они только у человека и будут искать пропитание. Есть глупые туристы, прикармливающие медведей на трассах, покормили и уехали, у других людей с этим медведем будут проблемы..

хуня это все на постном масле от очередного городского пиздюка начитавшегося хуйни от таких же экспертов диваноседов, у нас в деревне есть дед он кормит медведей, они ходят токо к нему остальных людей шугаются также как и везде, просто люди охуевшие твари считают себя сильно лучше животных и поэтому отвергают простой факт, что умные животины такие же как люди у них есть характер и также как есть люди-ублюдки такие же есть и животные со сорванной крышкой.

Those people are WAY too calm and they needed to make a FAR bigger noise to scare that bear out of their house so it wouldnt come back and so it doesnt go into any other houses for free easy food . What a big beautiful magnificent beast ! Now the poor bear will end up being killed because of humans invading wildlife habitat and not dealing with the wildlife properly . SMDH
