Collette please remind people to check that they are still subscribed. I think there are some shenanigans going on and I have found that I have to re subscribe almost every week. Sad. I enjoy you so much. Keep posting please. ❤

Welcome back ❤ the outside world is a very sad and very scary place, so many horrible things happening. We’re lucky to find peace and some solace within the garden

35 years ago I was married to the father of my children, a Cork man. We had discussions back then about losing the British identity to other cultures and I always remember him telling me that Ireland would never go that way, would never allow it due to the fierce patriotism of the Irish. However, none of us could have foreseen the woke madness which would develop into self loathing and criticism of our own countries and culture (I’m English) in favour of allowing any other culture to invade and take over for fear of offending. The Irish are fighters and I hope you win the battle. And if you do, I hope you will put out a welcome mat for the English who have been driven out of our once lovely culture 😢

It’s a horrible time Colette with everything going on. Thank God spring is here and I can start sowing my seeds to take my mind of everything. Glad you’re back.

Yes, the world is on fire, and our elected officials seem unable to cope in the least. I come to your beautiful garden for a respite from the madness and to remember to be grateful for the beauty of Mother Earth.

True evil exists, and there are so many hurting. We can't fix everything, and everyone. Be kind and productive and help those whom you can.

Most of us must feel helpless and sad for our children and grandchildren and I could hear the sadness in your voice. You have been gentle and kind to the most precious resource, Mother Earth. So take comfort and strength from all people who love what you do and care very much for you, patsy and bealtaine.

My husband and I have stopped watching the news, as all the doom and gloom going on in the world at the moment was getting us down. The world seems a very crazy place at the moment, which is why I am so happy I have found your channel, I find you very calming to watch, thank you, Colette.

Colette, I hear you. Those of us here understand exactly where you're coming from. Sad, mad world. I bought a tin sign recently "Out into the garden I go to free my mind and feed my soul..."

I just want to putter until I die. Putter in my garden. Putter around with my animals. Putter around the forest. ❤❤❤I can’t handle outside noise and seek calm every day.

Our world leaders are such a disappointment and not acting as we want and representing us and what is right - it is affecting many of us alongside you Colette and l feel in good company. The corruption is depressing and mothe nature is our tonic

Every so often I get overwhelmed with angst because of all the things that are going on in my country and other places in the world. I keep reminding myself that I can only do so much so I focus on where I am, my family, friends and the people I meet when I need to get out and run errands. I try to be the smile, kind word that is needed as I go through my life. I pray too. I can’t solve the many problems and issues that the world is facing but I do the best I can where I am physically.

I love the visits to your land. Hearing the birds chirping and seeing all the flowers and healthy growth is great. I miss gardening. Your videos help me remember the feeling of peace and privacy.

Keeping sane by staying firmly rooted on the earth, growing and nurturing living things is what I love doing too. It is what makes sense when so much seems senseless.

We empaths and HSP’s need to take good care of ourselves in this age. I feel everything and that energy is decidedly negative. There are so many terrified people and the news so bad that sometimes we all need to go full on Hobbit. Thankfully I have my weaving and spinning as a diversion and I start planting seedlings in the next week. This, as the man said, is a world where spirits are killed and eaten.

With the farce of war you would think mankind would have realised by now nothing good comes of it. Don't forget to clean the chimney after Winter, a chore easily passed by in the busyness of gardens. The peace in your garden is precious =-) Take care.

Colette, you have created a beautiful LIVING sanctuary, insulated from the toxicity of the outside world. Thank you for sharing your journey and all the blessings that come from honouring Her.
