Just ordered the second set from Beagle ... Loved the smaller hole (compared to my Wuta irons) and the great quality ...probably some of the best on the market in my opinion . I am happy you took the time and made the video promoting them .

Hi leathertoolz! Love your insightful review videos. If I am looking for a French style pricking iron with the smallest holes (I don't like large holes to be seen after stitching), will Beagle be your recommendation or is there something better that can achieve this?

Always amazing reviews. Thank you very much! And @Michael Robert, maybe he'd hit the "Constant Focus" on his camera.

Nice review as usual! I'm looking for 3mm french pricking irons for small goods essentially (532 linen thread stitching), wondering wich would give the best results among Kevin Lee, wuta and theses As the teeths are longer and narrower than others pricking irons, are they way more fragile than let's say Wuta DC53 steel teeths for example?

KS blade has more option for sizes. I think it's really hard question. both of them are really great pricking iron.

Are the beagle really that good? Im using the old amy rokes now, was thinking of buying the beagle but in either RWL 34 or M390 steel. but it's a lot more expensive.

Old amy rokes are fine but if you are looking for ones that can make smaller holes even with thick leather, this is good. RWL3 and M390 is better steel but I think it's overkill

With the smaller hole, is there a risk that you lose the clear slant of the stitches?

no it doesn't have any risk. it will give you slant stitching

Great review as always leathertoolz, but the focus issue really distracts from the great reviews you are creating. Keep up the great work though.

Hello. I looked at photos of this product on Ebay and ETSY. But the products(ebay, etsy) are not the same with your Video. Teeth are longer on this video. But the teeth on Ebay,Etsy are short
