In the distant past the klong right to the left was known to smell at low tide due to all the so called rain water drainage which included sink and kitchen water feeding into Nanai Road drains. Few years back the Patong Town Hall started charging owners (like us) a fee for cleaning klong before going into sea, a filter system. I just wonder if it's working, or improving the water quality discharged. I suspect NOT. The Seaview has always been a hotel I have recommended over 25 years.

Thanks for the memories Tony.We stopped there in 1998/99.It was a first introduction to Thailand and we holidayed there with Thomson Holidays and Britania Airlines. We absolutely loved the hotel and Patong, which was far quieter in those days.

Wow! You did it for free! They're so lucky! But of course you'll make up for it in other ways. You did such a fabulous job, I'm sure other hotels will want you to do theirs also. I'm very excited to see all the others as well. This Patong beach Hotel looks perfect. You sure made it look ideal, your video was flawless, made me feel like I was there at that hotel just relaxing and enjoying the luxury, especially the pool areas (2:06; 4:22, 6:02;), very fabulous, another piece of paradise there at Phuket Thailand! The night view of the pools is breath taking (5:49)! Especially loved the jet pool (6:41)! That hotel's colors are very vibrant while also being relaxing and soothing and yet very majestic all in one. Fabulous indeed! You picked a great hotel to tour! Hope 2021 will bring great success to the businesses and people of Phuket and her tourists and visitors! You gave a tour of one of the nicer rooms and the cheaper rooms. The cheapest room at the hotel had a sea view (7:55)! Wow! The nicer rooms are obviously going to be spectacular, and so I was really excited when you gave us the tour of one of the nicer ones (11:09) which was, totally, spectacular! And the family suite (14:42). And the rooms with direct access to the pool (6:51). My favorite thing about the SeaView Hotel at Patong Beach/Bay is all the trees they have, when you're looking out of the balcony at that glorious beach view (17:56; 18:36), makes you feel like you're a part of nature! Truly unique for a 4-star hotel! For two people it's around $100 USD (฿3,400 Bhat/THB) walk-in rate (19:00), for the delux, and for two people it's around $120 USD (฿4,000 Bhat/THB) walk in rate, for the family suites, that's fantastic! Those prices as of 2021 NOV 7 of course. Fabulous!!! You need to be on TV, do interviews, and yacht tours! Looking forward to your next videos! Keep 'em coming!!! 😀

Prices will vary depending on the time of year, best way to check prices is either Agoda or booking.com as far as I know you are able to take in a guest but reception may require a copy of there I'd this is for both the hotels protection and yours 👍

It's refreshing to know that not everybody loves the same things, and some do. Infinity pools are awesome!!! And jacuzzi is my first demand when searching hotels but I have resigned myself to the fact that most dont have 'em, what's wrong with the world? I have lived in countries where the entire country doesnt have a single tub it would seem, just standing shower only. True story I was at a military training camp in the middle of the desert, preparing to go to the battlefield, and God bless bureacrats... somebody was trying to fulfill their budget and filled our barracks, each room, with the nicest 7 star hotel sized tubs, it was hillarious but also a Godsend on the worst of days, maybe life saving. Most of us didnt even use water, we just laid there half dead in those astetically shaped mini-spas until somebody pounded on our door to wake us from our dreams of being somewhere nice. Tubs make all the difference in a room's look of luxury, elegance, class, and care. How does a wall of tile and hole in the floor and cheap shower hose indicate humanity is worth a darn? And tiny tubs made for only half a body were designed by the chiropracter industry to drum up more spine/neck injury customers. I've seen people make their own tubs with just a pile of cement and some flat shovels for smoothing it into the desired shape, leave some holes for the jets and plumbing and viola! Same with a pool, hoepfully it'lll catch on, humanity still isnt demanding it enough, the majority of humans still believe they dont deserve a good life. But aside from those 2 things i thought this hotel looked fabulous as a 2nd choice to a 5 star etc, it is after all only a 4 star. As for the road, noise and pollution definitely an issue but from another standpoint it means better access and more amenities nearby, most shops and restaurants cant be there with no road. And some people enjoy having more people and activity etc in the area, not everybody wants it dead silent and all alone. Sometimes I feel more privacy with a hundred tourists flocking the area from different hotels etc, rather than only a few families from the same hotel or individuals from the same hotel. Seems contrary but a flock of strangers for some reason seems less threatening than one-on-one with strangers. But again, some days i would love peace and quiet and solitude and a beach that is just one step away rather than across a road in a country that has the most dangerous roads on the planet! Ha! We totally agree on several points!
