Thailand Tony No Nonsense Guide.

Thailand Tony No Nonsense Guide.

Hi, & Welcome to my Channel Which are all about Phuket & Thailand.
My name is Tony, I have been living here in Phuket for over 6 years but my love affair with Thailand started way back in 2002. Since then it's just grown more and more The people The Food The Culture The landscape The Climate.

However, when I first visited there were no easy ways to find out useful information like what restaurant to visit? What food to eat? Which beaches to Visit? where to stay? which hotels to use? what visas do I need? & many many more questions.

After many years of visiting & now living here, I have amassed a lot of LOCAL knowledge, which I want to use to help others to discover the best Thailand & Phuket has to offer.
So this is why I started my KZread Channel & Facebook group

Fasten your seatbelts, you're in for a great ride 👍🙏🙏

    Slightly better but it's still within the rainy season so always expect some rain and if it doesn't that's a bonus 👍

  • @thailandtony
    @thailandtony18 сағат бұрын

    Nakalay Beach is only accessible if you are staying at the Thavorn Beach Village Resort & Spa They list it as a private beach, however all beaches are public beaches as layout by law but unfortunately the hotel controls access but they do not own the beach. people could access this beach by boat if they wish too

    The best background sound is the sound of life in Phuket. That brings memories.

  • @thailandtony
    @thailandtony3 күн бұрын

    I couldn't agree more but unfortunately when walking around most areas in Thailand there's always music of some kind being played and thats an issue for KZread as it then becomes a copyright problem,so it not always possible to have the background sounds there 👍

    Look further North; most beautiful beaches in KL...(with new hotels). Fresh morning market near bus station, afternoon market near PTT gas station, Bang Niang, Build factory and Alive markets at evening. South you have a nice Poseidon beach.

    Great vid! Was wondering what your thoughts were on the area? We went phuket 10 years ago and loved it, the vibe and Traveling around. We are currently booked into the sands in khao lac, but I'm worried it won't be as good phuket. Love good food, and draft beer is a must lol Issue with phuket, most hotels is just a double room

  • @thailandtony
    @thailandtony9 күн бұрын

    I like Khao Lak but it's a very different vibe compared to Phuket ie a lot slower pace so if you like hustle & Bustle with lively night spots then Phuket covers this way better but if you just wanna chill Khao Lak is going to suit 👍 hope this help and I shall be covering Khao Lak in more details going forward

    I lived at Kata Beach because it has better body and board surfing waves. And that little island just off the beach, called Ko Bpoo or Crab Island, is so picturesque. For families, Kamala is better.

    Hi Tony, We were Booked to stay at the Centara in July 2023 and the booking was cancelled due to the Refurbishment starting in the Mid July, We were advised that the hotel wasnt looking to reopen until at least November 2024 at the earliest. So we had to stay elsewhere in Karon & Patong. This trip we are visiting Pattaya & Bangkok and hopefully the Centara will be re-open next year for us to visit as we love it.

    Planning to visit phuket this weekend (from India).. 7th 8th and 9th July.. what are the weather predictions for this weekend.. will u be able to throw some light.. Our travel agent said early July is ok to visit phuket but now seeing the weather apps I’m worried 😢

  • @thailandtony
    @thailandtony12 күн бұрын

    Hi, As I have mentioned many times forget weather apps they are very misleading at this time of year.... Currently as you will have seen on my weather update videos 'Shorts' kzread.infoyYikkzmVFKs?feature=share The weather is changeable with both sunny spells and rain showers which is typical of this time of year. 👍

    Thai people and driving... you should see them drive with normal rain....100 is nothing... especially the big cars.. they are incapable to realize under what conditions they drive.

    I must say Tony you kind of drop the ball with this one. There is also Free WIFI , Smart Card : Pay by Phuket Rabbit Card is allowed , Wheelchair : Handicap Accessible Entrance , CCTV : To give the passenger a sense of security throughout the trip , USB : Every seat with USB port for charging , GPS : Real-time Bus Tracker System I believe that at least some if not all of the buses have been converted to Electric Power
