I meant to say this in the video, but forgot.. The reason I mentioned @hankooktire_global so many times in this video, and tagged them here in this description, was not to try to get them to pay me for a set of tires, or give me anything for free. I've already long since purchased new tires and have no problem with that. I'm not trying to get anything out of #hankook. The reason I called them out so deliberately was to make them AWARE of this problem, and hopefully get them to take some action and step up the quality of the tires they are selling to RV manufactures. An RV is by far one of the most dangerous vehicles to be in in the case of an accident, and they are almost always carrying families when traveling down the road. So to have unsafe tires on a top heavy and unstable vehicle, that has absolutlety no crash protection for the familes riding inside, is something that needs to be addresed, and I have no problem being the one who makes some noise to get the manufactureres attention. Those tires are date coded march of 2020, meaning they were dead on 4 years old at the time this was filmed, and have 11,000 miles on them. Even though we live in an area that gets lots of sunshine, the fact that the inside tires were doing the same thing means that the sun was not a factor. Especially since none of the other approximately 80 tires (I have a lot of vehicles) sitting in the same yard have had an issue with the sun. Hopefully Hankook takes a hard look into this to prevent accidents, injuries, or worse due to the quality of tires they are putting on Motorhomes.

Holy crap! I have used Hankook quite a bit (they sell a lot of rubber here in Aust) and in fact I run 15 inch light truck on the steer of our sedan (it sees a lot of dirt, the rib LTs work well on the front and are resistant to potholes and punctures) without any issues. I'd be very unhappy with 4 year, 11k mile old rubber doing that!

Right on Casey. I think that a big problem in today's world is that manufactures are not called out. A lot of people are just willing to accept a shoddy product. I am totally with you on being the "squeaky wheel". I filed Lemon law on General Motors back in 2008 , everybody said to just let it go and that I would not win, but I was not willing to do that.. Long story short I won. All I wanted was them to fix a defective product. Sometimes we just have to take a stand and speak up. Thank you for doing that.

Hankook will stand behind those tires. I know it doesn't help your trip. Good to see you out with family and not working all the time although , I know you enjoy working. !!!

Sounds like a "batch problem" . Hopefully ( in a perfect world ) they'll send a Bulletin to all registered purchasers to inspect their sidewalls for that date-code , & Recall / Replace them as necessary. Certainly a lot less expensive than a Lawsuit settlement for family's LOSS . I knew there'd be a bit more to it when you kept repeating ; yup , you went on to FAIRLY SHOW their perfectly good tires on several of your other vehicles 👍 , good on'ya 👏 !

I agree that the wife made a genius call here.

I love how you say "ah it will be fine" about the RV jacks and then show that NO it will NOT be fine. Most people would have kept that hush hush and not said anything. I respect how you keep it real and it's one of the reason i watch ALL of your videos. Much Respect from Canada!!

It is very clear to see just how surrounded by love Riley is - thank you for allowing us to come along and share your time with the family, Casey. Now, onto the jacks - I've got a 3 point system in my 30 foot Pusher, and I built 6" spacer blocks out of 2x2's and 1 inch plywood for under my jacks so that they aren't extending so much to level my rig - gives a whole lot more stability to my rig when this is done versus just extending the jacks all the way to level it out. Very noticeable difference if there's any kind of winds!

Great video! I will never forget an Easter 37 years ago when me and my 2 sisters were woken in the wee hours of the morning. My dad was a state trooper at the time, a family had been involved in an accident. Both parents were killed leaving the 3 kids behind. My dad asked us three kids if could take our Easter baskets to the hospital for the 3 children. None of us hesitated, I often think of that morning, hope it made some small difference in their lives.

The best thing for a child is to encourage exploring. Whether it be playing outside at the beach/ mountains/ desert. Swimming/ running/ skiing/ riding. Playing with learning be it science, art, nature or reading. And your holiday not going as planned but turning out great is a wonderful example of going with the flow and seeing how to still have fun. Good job mom and dad. And Riley too for having such a good time learning.

What a wonderful weekend it turned out to be, in spite of how it started. Only 4 years on a new set of tires with only 11,000 miles is just wrong. Y'all were able to turn lemons into lemonade however. What a beautiful little girl and the memories made will forever be relived in video. Way better than still pics. So glad you made this one and that it turned out so well for your family.

Pretty awesome you all were able to adjust your vacation to have great time. I'm sure its one Riley will remember forever as a great time. Similar situation happened a long time ago for me. We were supposed to go out west but the camper wasn't going to do well on long trip, so we headed to Myrtle Beach and found a campground right on the beach. First time I had ever been to the ocean.
