Fishing and catching squid and crabs for me is the best life! People that usually fish are some of the most genuine people I have met too. Australia is awesome for this we are so lucky

Well done Nev. Keep up the good work. I am an old fella and still learn heaps from your videos. Plenty of squid for everyone and squid and fish come and go so its anyones luck. Plus you are doing a good job promoting the Island for tourism. I am sure the locals appreciate the business fisherman bring to the area.

Hey Nev you know them lures with the prongs on it that you can put that whiting on. Where you put the fishing was just a piece of wire with them spikes. Have you ever put shrimp on there would that work it would be expensive. But have you ever tried shrimp on them. Just some big dead shrimp with the heads on please let me know I love you videos. Awesome video mate, really enjoyed it. Keep up the great videos! Also, I found a really nice spot with lots of weedbeds which i thought could be a great spot for squid. The only downside is that the water is only 30-60cm deep. Do you reckon there could still be squid in water that shallow?

  • @NevsFishing

Cheers mate, happy to hear that you enjoyed. Squid do hang in really shallow water (ive caught them in 20cm of water) but for your best chance i would fish there on a big high tide and preferably around sunrise/set. Hope that helps👌

Been looking at that spot for the last year but never gave it a try because I thought it would be too shallow and I also sometimes swim around there and have never seen any myself haha.
