Thanks for sharing this great episode mate. I’m curious which setup did you manage to get more bites, is it the one with the floater or the plain squid jig?

Nice squid and I’ve been at that spot on my uncle’s boat and we caught lot’s of big squid and parrotfish and that’s were all of my pb’s have been caught

I live in south east Queensland and have had success in manly, wynnum, all around redcliffe area such as Scarborough, redcliffe, shornecliffe as well as the Gold Coast. I hope this helps. Cheers. Also it is worth noting that in qld, squid are far more plentiful from May-September.

considering squid only have a life span of about 12 months, i doubt youll be catching the cyclops again next year.. top video though!

That is correct. The alternative method is just a running float with a stopper (still use sinker). I mainly use that off the beach
