I love your channel, and just thought I should offer a little advise on something that came up in this video. First off NEVER USE RICE! Its a total myth, it can do more harm than good. When it comes to electronics found at the beach, you want to do the opposite of what you may think at first. Think about what they do when an ancient treasure is brought up from the bottom of the ocean. You want to keep the devise wet with the same water it has been in, hopefully this is only a few minutes, and ASAP open it and disconnect all power, and flush it with distilled water and a chemically neutral substance. Scrubbing bubbles works great. Dry it and inspect for corrosion. Corrosion is the killer, it will set in in minutes when an item, that has been in mineralized water starts to dry. Its not usually the water that kills its the minerals and impurities in the water or liquid.

a question concerning the 600. I know that the machine is supposed to be waterproof but the headsets that come with it are not. is the connection at the control head water proof and able to go under the water as long as the phones don't?

Are the grey ghosts that much better than the yellow waterproof headphones that you were using? If so how?

Im new to the Euinox, do you hunt by the threshold hum also with no vdi readout? I was practicing with it the other day it seems like a very deep target one could detect with just the threshold hum shift. Thanks for your great videos! jason

got miccus Sr 71 low latency headphones for the nox yesterday. 60bucks they are super nice and wireless . used them all day today , they are great

Gray Ghost headphones are far better than the cheap Chinese rubbish that are in the box . Minelab bought the rights to the phones i heard and upped the price to a ridiculous price . And they are to low toned , not good enough for the beach . Land maybe but not the beach .
