Some beautiful rings! You commented that one of the copper wheat pennies was 1943. If it is, that coin is worth a lot of money. Most 1943 pennies are steel because of the need for copper during the war. So the copper ones are very rare!

That bracket with the numbers on it is a uni-strut 1” conduit strap. It’s used in electrical conduit installations.

Oh yeah , the tunnels to the beach reminded me of the late sixties early seventies when I would drive my hot rod 68 Camaro through them and rev it up . If nobody else said, the bracket is a conduit clamp. It goes in a channel type tube and slides where you need it, then you tighten it up on your conduit. Basically a construction type item.

Great finds out there! That one ring is super cool and being so old! We found a massive ring today that has what also appears to have a bloodstone type gem in in. But nowhere as cool as the 1916! And the other ring you found is nice as well. Great all the way round!

At37:52 of the vid. You said the wheat cent might be a 1943 COPPER. If it truly is... You're rich. It would be worth at least $100K. And possibly a lot more. So I'd make sure. Really nice finds. Great hunt.

@@idigdaytona4478 I actually found a 14kt wedding band the other day and almost $7 in clad. All of it was way up near the dunes! Amelia Island got a lot of erosion from Ian allowing for Nicole to push the coins across the flat beach.

Ihave an older metal detector....''Relco''....uses 2 batteries.... I used it mostly to find nails on old const. sites , and had 4 gold claims..... wouldnt bother beach combing---finding pennies and beer tabs --wouldnt pay for batteries --let alone my time @ $15.00 AN HR.

Hi Alexander , the pennies and pull tabs are just the things you find in between gold and silver finds . My detector has built-in battery pack that is rechargeable so no need to buy batteries . My Fisher CZ21 uses 4 - 9v batteries . I bought rechargeable batteries for that one too so I don't need to keep buying batteries. Metal detectors have come a long way over the years . My parents had a place at Vanderbuilt beach until about 10 years back when they came back up north.. their road was a mess like some of what I saw on your footage. Terrible. Glad you are well. Getting freakin' cold on the beaches up here in NH now but I'll get out with my nox' if we get a decent day without wind. GL & HH !

First off good finds Second if that’s a 1943 copper penny you hit the jackpot in 1943 there’s supposed to be no copper all steel Pennies so definitely look it over if it is take it to a coin shop not a pawn shop have them look at it like Paul’s coin shop in Ormond Beach or someone you know but once again good videos oh and PS I found a standing liberty quarter and a 1916 Barbara dime on the beach last week was ecstatic

Hi SBD , I am hearing we could get hit by another hurricane around December 5 . After this cold front moves up and out of here it will form south of Cuba and move up into Florida. It would be a very late storm. We should know more in a week or so . Keeping an eye on the tropics for another few weeks. Thanks for watching .

used to detect beaches in Oregon .. very difficult to find old stuff there, but if you could read the beach good stuff could be found... would love to live in an area where the terrain has changed like Florida after the hurricane ... Awesome finds waiting out there.

Hi beach junkies , thank you . Most of the Spanish silver and gold is found down on the treasure coast south of here . But it still could happen. There were a lot of ship wrecks on Florida's coast. Thanks for watching .

I found one time a 20 dollar gold piece. At that time I sold it for 1175.00

Back in the 60’s the best lace to find treasure was off Sebastian inlet after a hurricane as there are loads. Of shipwrecks just off the shore. Everything from emeralds to gold and silver. This might be a perfect time to look there after this hurricane.

Hi Teresa , yes , the 1715 fleet wrecked from Ft Pierce inlet to Sebastian inlet. Surprisingly they didn't get that much beach erosion this time. Not much being found down there after this last storm . There has been a lot of re-nourishment sand added over the years to stop the beach erosion . This last storm removed some sand but from what I have heard it was just the re-nourishment washing out. It is a fun place to metal detect because you just never know what will show up . Thanks for watching .
