This miracle beach find was like finding a needle in a hay stack, but with a metal detector... But wait, it didn't read out while metal detecting the beach!? WHAT??? It was at the deepest part of the beach cut below the bedrocks. Recent storms have cause deep beach cuts in the sand, some down to the bedrock. Some areas over a mile long!

Thanks, I did install the furry wind covers and had the Insta360 Ace Pro wind reduction turned on too but forgot to put on the 1+ doupler lens... doh. Happens when you do things last minute 😅 Can't wait to get back there now with my 6" coil!
I really commend you for your patience in those rocks! A sniper coil really would be more precise, but you handled those targets really well! Happy hunting buddy ✌️

That is funny, I was going to go to Oceanside this weekend, but something came up. I am a park guy more than beach. It's nice to see someone else in San Diego who likes parks. Great Hunt. I could not dig in the rocks, also I have not really found much on the beach. I have found more at parks.

The beach scoop I used worked great and was not bent or damage by the rocks... There is an affiliate link in the descriptions if you'd like to get you. They are only $29.95 on Amazon... I have two of them. Say in the bedrock if you don't mind the rocks... Best if you have a 6 to 8" coil as anything bigger is going to be a pain in the butt with all the iron in there too. There is over a mile of it!

@ParkMetalDetecting I have two sand shovels, and three dirt diggers. I do more parks. Beach is just not my thing. I think it is because everyone hunts them. When I need a change I will do a beach hunt here and there other then that I stay to tot lots and parks

No camera can filter out the beach wave noise! I did get a little wind noise at times

@brettellis1837 lol... I was running as much sensitivity as I could as most targets were really deep below those rocks. I only had a couple hours to search as it was a date day with wife :) Next time, I'll have a small backpack so I can take the 6" coil... that would of been the hot ticket!
The ring may be magnetic, tungsten & titanium will definitely register on a machine

Actual it's non conductive to electricity and it does not read up on the detector. Come to find out that is a Ceramic Ring that is made by high pressure molding that makes it as hard as tungsten.
Wow noisy as what were advanced settings.

@@ParkMetalDetecting GOT A RIPPER FOR YA I USE ON 800 AND GIVE TO CRAIG FOR 900. SETTINGS ARE IN DETAIL. SO WHEN COIL GOES OVER GROUND NOT A NOISE ONE COULD GET A POP OR CLICK IE SAY A CLICK VDI COMES UP 19 23 JUMP HIT ALL METAL NEGATIVE WILL COME UP.WALK AWAY BOTTLE CAP STEEL ALLY CAP31MM OD COMES UP AS 26 BROKEN WALK AWAY. BE BACK WITH REST OF INFO GOT TO GO TO NOTES FOR SETTINGS I ALSO WILL GIVE YA INFO ON MY ITEMS FOUND VERY IMPORTANT YOU WILL HAVE TO DO A AIR TEST ON WHAT COINS YOU NEED TO FIND OR RINGS.. THEN GOTO SETTINGS AFTER A FACTORY PRE SET.

@@ParkMetalDetecting 800 set up or 900 go any were will give ya brief on items I got pissed all over deus 2 manticore and only in field 1 on beach 🏖 wet dry the 900 is like xterra pro 100 ➕ vdi but still can go accept reject in 2 ways at same time target tone advanced is the extra systematic part of settings. T5 can be changed.
