What lures are you using mate? I tried some but had no luck and people saying that lures can make a huge difference if you know what to choose. If you can give me some advice it will be much appreciated! Thanks

Hi Simion! Yes, that’s correct. When choosing lures, you need to think about size, colour, weight and action but it all comes down what fish species you are after and what they are feeding on. When you know these things you will be able to narrow the lure selection down considerably. To give you a common example: when water is clear, choose realistic/natural/clear colour lures and when the water is dark and murky, choose hi-visibility colours like white/orange/yellow etc. Good luck and tight lines!

@@compactangler I fish in Brighton and same as you its all shingle with very little structure about like large rocks etc

@@Wayne-ks9gd I like to cast around the breakwaters as bass like to chase and trap baitfish against them. Shallow rocky areas would be my other choice.
