I can feel that energy from it too, feels good to know that there are strangers that felt the same thing I felt as soon as I heard it

whenever I need to humble myself and be reminded of my mortality, this song always does the trick. The emotion in her voice and the instrumentation. It's just, unreal. This song can make me weep like a child.

I've been listening to Beach House since 2009 and right before I was gonna go to bed I randomly thought, "hey, lemme listen to this song before I clockout". Only now did the lyrics hit me like a ton of bricks. Oh well. At least it happened. Gotta keep moving.

First time I heard this song yesterday I can't stop listening to it. It was the best background music while walking at the beach with my daughter, holding her little hand feeling the real love. This memory will stay forever in my heart 💚

It is absolutely amazing to me what a song can do to your brain. This is hands down one of my favorite songs of all time. I remember listening to this back in either 2010 or 11 and fell in love with it. I've never lost that feeling. It's so simple, yet so deep and her voice is so haunting and memorable. It brings back a certain feeling I will never relive, ever again. A feeling so specific to my youth while figuring out who I was.

This song reminds me of someone I'm glad I don't ever have to see again. I just needed to hear it one last time to let the past go and be done with it. I haven't heard this song in over 10 years. I'm donating the Teen Dream album to my local amvets today. Beach house is great, but I don't want or need the awful memories back.

Victoria sounds like she just got done crying before recording this. Idk she has this like strained, almost “lost” voice, like her vocal chords were a bit dry from crying. It gives the vocals another element of emotion some of the other songs on teen dream don’t really have.

I just heard this lastnight, sometimes certain songs can hit my soul, where it makes me feel all my Rage, Hurt and my Sorrow, I wish I could make me people feel how I feel when a certain vibe hits me. It doesn't feel good to be an Empath when you feel all these little things 10 times worse and theres no one to hear you, except maybe the Mother Goddess. Lol

I would love to fall in love like really in love, pure, beautiful and unreal... and dedicate this song and kissing while we listen to it.
