This song was written and commissioned for my former pastor and his family after the sudden loss of their daughter, Kristen. It was a very sad time for our Church...😥 I am glad to see that this song has been a comfort for a lot of people since then. 😊

My choir once sang this, and I thought to myself “someone really needs to hear this, I can feel it” I was sick the day they sang it to the congregation, so I listened to them during practice from the pews. I remember crying. my dad had just lost his job, my mom was struggling with depression, and I was overwhelmed with worry every waking moment. In that moment i realized I was the person who needed to hear it, and this song seems to find its way back to my heart every time i need it
