This performance is absolutely awe-inspiring! Mary Mcdonald is a truly gifted composer, not to mention a formidable pianist! From the moment when I first heard this piece at my church, St. Josephine of Bakhita, in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, performed by our smaller, yet no less capable SATB choir, I was overcome with emotion, tears running down both cheeks, drawn in to the message. I remain fascinated how Ms. Mcdonald can write such beautiful music. She simply must be inspired by God!
