I think that people don’t understand that being productive =/= studying. Doing important tasks is productive as they can be cruical (e.g tidying up... a messy room/desk makes me not want to study). I got up to do a lot of work, so thanks for the motivation!

I agree with you. But I also think it’s hard not to feel bad when you’re “not productive” (aka doing relaxation activities, or just flat out doing nothing) if you’re always in the mindset that everything you do has to be meaningful and productive.

Well, I immediately start with homework once I get back and then study till 11 or 12. It's all dedication! On the weekends, I wake up at 6 am and study for maximum 12 hours, with no distractions.

With extracurriculars I study around 4 hours on the weekdays. Of course it depends on the day of the week. On the weekends I usually do 7-8 hours with multiple breaks.

Eversole Okay, weird question, but what are you studying this much for? 😱Cause I‘m in my second year of University now, and I still only study one or two hours on weekdays, and maybe three on weekends, and so far it has worked out fine. Is it a difference in subject, or are exams just more difficult in different countries? (I‘m in Germany, studying English and Latin at Uni) I wouldn‘t even know what to do with 8 hours of studying time...
