Finally someone realize how great and inspiring Shirogane is he is the most relatable character for me especially that sticky notes all over his room and strive for perfection we can learn many things from him in fact there was a good quote about Neroplasticity and learning Kaguya said to Myuki it was great. Just because of Shirogane's inspiration, I started working after school and applied to be one of three student council presidents (elections still coming up). I generally feel a bit more tired but mentally I feel 100x more active and happier, that I can be my best and most optimal self.

Impressive that there's such high demand for the outcome, thank you for your interest. The election went well, I was one of the three student council presidents but it wasn't that interesting just a lot of planning, fun regardless. Still have my job and finishing up high school, will attend university afterwards.

I strive to be half the man Shirogane is, that's why I'm starting my self-improvement journey right now on Day 1, wish me luck!

Thanks, and welcome aboard. Personally I think there are some Anime that are so good reading ahead would be a waste, and the anime is so good at comedic timing I'd rather not spoil myself on that

shirogane has genuinely motivated me so much. I relate to his family situation a lot and seeing him being strong even though really motivates me. Though i’m not the on the top like he is i’ve been doing better since a long time. This anime has such a special place in my heart, and one of the biggest reasons is shirogane.

100% Agree. One standout scene I remember from the show was how much Kaguya was into his tired looking eyes, which is just a proxy for how hard working he is. Big Inspiration to work hard and cultivate a healthy ego

Apparently there is a student council in my school too. It was formed about 3-4 months ago. But the saddest part was that I wasn’t chosen. The teachers gave names themselves and there were elections among students. Obviously they are going to pick their friend’s names and I don’t have many people whom I can call friends. But I’m at top of my school. Got 2 medals academically in one year, top rank in math quiz and top rank in final examinations. Maybe I am too study oriented that I don’t participate in physical activities so they didn’t choose me. Unlike shuuichin where student council is respected, the student council of our school just keeps on getting bullied by the other bullies. What an ideal world.

What you said hits home, when I was in school I went as far as becoming the head of a new committee which failed to do anything. Let me ask you a question, why do you want to be a part of the student council? Do you actually want to make changes in the school? Do you want your voice to me more important then of those around you? Or do you crave validation for what you think you've achieved thus far? If you want what Shirogane has, you won't find it in a title. The section on the handball training fully encapsulates the "why" Shirogane has what he has.

@@Adam_Zielinski tbh all the reasons. I want to have a voice, and change my school. Do something for the students who actually deserve it and help my juniors out. That’s what I want. I crave validation too. I want to be respected.

My favorite character in Kaguya sama. I know everyone likes Ishigami, because he’s relatable for all the loser otakus, but Shirogane is the most relatable for me.

It's not just because he is relatable. It's also because he is a guy who cares for others but life keeps kicking him down. And when the whole s2 e11 thing went down, he gave into his negative emotions. He never was just an otaku, he was a representation of how people need to get back up in order to be happy, improve and move forward.
