I check on my garden every day and always see something new or something to do. My flower beds are full of veggies instead of flowers. I plant all over the place and use the deep mulch method. I also do Ruth Stout method.

Dekays brown snakes love to Live in my mulch. I know I’m going to see them in the spring but they still always startle me.

Been years since I saw a snake in suburbia garden city dweller here. Think circa 1983 and my dog brought it out of a garden that I lost control on My neighbor also had a lot that has been built on and it had a wet low spot n frogs in the spring Miss that much
