Exactly. Check out Minarik guitars if you haven't. The guy who founded Minarik started out as builder at BC. They are the spiritual successors to BC rich , imo

Nice to see B.C.Rich back in safe hands, and with the new series of guitars catering for more of a general taste design I can see them being huge again and not just for the diehard metal fans

Having owned a bc rich beast for 20 years I can honestly say it's still my favourite guitar to play

I've always liked BC Riches, I always thought the Mockingbird and Bich were super cool-looking and I loved the ones Slash and Joe Perry used

Kerry King and Dave Mustaine inspired me to buy a warlock, mockingbird, and a rich bich 10 string

Bc Rich has the most unique sound to their guitars which became very very important in metal music history

Omg im so happy B.C Rich is back strong. My first guitar was a warlock when u was 8 years old and I am 31 now and i still play it and lobe every second of it

I was curious to see Herman play the 8 string guitar :P

I love Bill. Super nice guy, couldnt be more humble, a GREAT guitarist and a overall great guy!!

Absolutely stoked to get some of these. It’s been my favorite guitar brand for years. So happy to see them back.

I’m not a fan of B.C Rich’s designs, at all. Seeing that their CEO is actually a guitarist, and a damn good one at that, makes me respect them a lot more.

Really outdated designs unfortunately. I had a warlock, still do, when I was a kid. But yeah they need to move on big time.

what more can u ask when the ceo loves the shit out of his job, shreds pure passion and literally sets up the guitars , sounds like one of the best deals out there for metal shapes

Man this guy is awesome and it seems like the company has real heart. I love seeing a company with this much history come back with a big revival plan like this. The guitars look great, with that Shredzilla looking very tempting.

I actually had a few takeaways from this not only learning about a ceo of a guitar company but some of the things he said he was taught i learned from also. Ill definitely take that and run with it. Thanks for a very educational and fun interview.

Sounds like a lot of good steps in the right direction. I've never been an emg fan so it's cool to see them using the fluence. Eager to get a chance to see some of their super strat style models in person.

Had a Kerry King Signature once, didn't like it as the headstock was too heavy. I did sell it for more than what I paid for it though so it did have an upside.

Bill has a new fan. the fact that he plays and sets up the guitars at the factory speaks volumes. If I ever grow up, I want to be Bill Xavier!

I am so glad that Bill is taking this company back into the level of greatness that BC Rich deserves… And knowing he worked at Peavey during the original 5150 years makes me honoured to be lucky enough to own my Duel Two Twelve tube amp Absolutely fantastic 🤘🏻

I've always loved B.C rich. My two main stage guitars for 10+ years are NJ Warlock and Mockingbird. Bill seems like he has a great vision for the company. This really gives me hope for the future of a brand that was struggling.

The Coolest CEO I've Ever Seen!

4 out of the 14 guitars I own are BC Rich warlocks. I love each of them to pieces but the one I truly love is this pearl white one with a Floyd Rose.

I have a B.C. Rich Mockingbird Platinum Pro Series guitar. They were made in the 2000s and I absolutely love it. Got it for Christmas this year.

Great to see BC Rich back, and most models get that awesome inline pointy headstock, the way it should be. Now, go make some wild colours & graphics for them, it's 80s time

That warlock is sick looking I've had a bronze warlock for over 10 years and it still plays great! Love the heavier guitars just got a schecter diamond series 7 string and it's about as heavy as the warlock.

My JRV extreme is arriving in a few days together with my dimebag wah, its quite an upgrade from my Squier Hss. I cant wait to play it

Hard to believe that 12 years ago in 2008 I was front stage at mayhem festival in Toronto to witness Herman Li go absolutely insane on his guitar 🤘😫🤘 😪 and also witness the last tour of all the original slipknot members before Paul grays passing was a privilege I'll never forget, the whole festival was amazing!

I have a BC Rich Steve Smyth Signature 7 and a old 6 string Warlock, have to say they’re definitely not comfortable gears. but I just love them...always remind me that how I became a die-hard metalhead, I still carry my SSS7 on stage sometimes, even it's so damn heavy.

Legit last year I was looking to grab a new BC Rich to add to my collection of Beasts and Warlocks. I was so sad ti see they went custom only. I am stoked to hear Bill has resurrected my favorite brand!

Its so great to see a classic guitar brand revived with such passion and respect. You look at other brands like Kramer where they tried to do the same thing, but Gibson just doesn't care enough to even have the stock

@Christian Davis I had an nj warlock early 80's - still have my 1987 ironbird - a gold series 1992 mockingbird - 90's warlock nj - late 80's Bich - hand made assassin before Bernie passed away 99 - exclusive 1 2002 - and a mockingbird st 2008 away from other models that I sold as beast - V and lower models .

Wow that was pretty cool! Way to rep the brand!!! Ive got an old warlock "revenge" from the not so golden era of BC rich. Ive always loved the style and it sounds good cause it has SD blackouts in it, but i would love to get my hands on a bit more refined one of these! The new BC Rich line was on my radar but this is making them even more appealing haha

I have a 1984 BC Rich Bich that's pretty beat up and heavy as Hell but it was my first guitar and i still love it. Glad to see they're back!

The album sleeve of Wasp, Live in the raw as a 10 year old got me hooked on the warlock design. Not a chance in hell of being able to afford one back in the day so I built my first warlock copy when I was 14. Still play it today although I have refinished it since. It is 30 years old at this stage

I absolutely love B.C. Rich! I have two really nice floyd Rose models in my collection. Can’t find or afford a USA model or a Tiffany 80’s model but hopefully i’ll get one someday! If you ever wanted to sponsor a BC Rich fan,I’m the one! I cannot get enough of them and if i find a nice one i’ll never pass it up,especially if it looks like it can be from an 80’s/90’s music video on Mtv!

Nice review ! but as an old BC Rich fan collector and player - from almost 11 months in SF i did try several new BC Rich models but none of them had that American or Japanese feel and tone that i am used to even with the shapes .... i felt those new models are some kind of new Ibanez shapes more - neck feel and profile as the pickups didn't reach the power of Duncan's as I'm used to ... so i found finally a brand new 2008 mockingbird ST that i liked more and kept on my taste for my BC Rich collection among other brands that i love . again and honestly i felt they are some sort of new Ibanez modern things - but even in Ibanez i admire the 70's till 1987 guitars more than after . thanks for the review and keep going - new generations looking for more

The best guitars in the world. I’m so happy I finally have a left handed ironbird. The extreme series rules !!

To be honest some of these new higher end BC rich models look and sound to be of very good-quality. It’s nice to hear from the CEO because it seems like he’s a legit guitar player. He cares about the instrument and the people that like to play it so that’s cool.

I think if B.C rich guitar can put seymore duncun pickups /or emg57/66 or 81 in some of their models and let the price drops a littlebit(around 900-1100$)..., I think it will sell like hotcakes.

I recently acquired a used Warlock NJ after having flashbacks to one a school mate had. It sure would be cool to have an opportunity to buy a new affordable NJ/NT in the original body shape with more current competitive quality construction/ components. Give us some cool fret markers and some bodacious paint options. I'm over the boring stuff with dots and simple paint. Look at what Ibanez and Jackson are doing!

Any ETA on the new gunslinger? Many people are waiting on this. Hopefully solid colors, true to the old designs maybe slightly improved. They they will sell for sure!

I'd like to see the ST III models return... I loved those superstrats...

Glad i bought a B.C. Rich when they were still affordable, 500eu for a mockingbird, 7 happy years of ownership. Pretty cool what he's doing. Though they might aim for younger players their price range certainly doesn't. Apart that huge respect for his guitar skills

That story he tells about stretching out the strings: I had a guitar teacher teach me that years ago and I still do that, even though none of my guitars have Floyds on them. Helps keep the guitar in tune for longer. Pretty much the only guitar it didn’t work on was the g string of my Gibson SG, because the g string on a Gibson really is that bad.

I bought the WMD in high school, 2009-ish. Still plays like the day I bought it. BC Rich guitars are fantastic mid-tier guitars.

My first electric was a blood red bich (at 10 years old, lol). I still really like the body shape, very comfortable to play. I'd like to buy a more premium version one day.

I owned a Mockingbird back in the day it was a beautiful guitar back then the wish I never sold it and then I bought a warlock Pro Series 2 I wasn't 100% impressed but it was still a great guitar I'm digging this That BC Rich is putting out Herman please play that 8 string in a video.
