You didn’t post dyno results because there is no increase of power when doing the bigger throttle body. You get more noise is all

Can't you remove the throttle body from the bottom without removing the whole intake manifold?

Question for you guys. My 2014 focus st is at 56,000 miles. I’m just now able to afford any mods, it’s completely stock. It’s that too high mileage to start modding? Would it be stupid to mod with this many miles?

Late to the party here, but I would suggest inspection of the valves to check for any carbon or sludge build up first. If they're pretty badly gunked up, consider getting them walnut blasted. A decent, baffled catch can will go a long way in preventing that from happening again. As for aftermarket mods? Intake, exhaust, Symposer Delete, BOV, and intercooler seem to be the universally agreed upon starting points.

No. 57k isn't that many miles, especially on this car. Generally, mods actually help an engine to work bettter. The problem comes from drive style and drive intensity. The ST can handle it. There's guys going bigger turbo at 100+K and they do fine along with full bult-on, modded STs at 150k+.

It will yes! you will need longer bolts from ford though.

Don't waste the $500+... You'll get s little more throttle response and a little less turbo lag, barely noticable but no real power increase.

Can St upgrades fit on the SE model as well?

I mean, assuming that you have a 2.0 SE... The Focus ST still has a whole turbo system a SE is lacking. So I would say most mods wouldn't work.

i dont see the benefit unless the opening on the intake manifold matches the throttle body.

It does make a difference. I have a 63mm one and via virtual dyno gained 2hp and 20 tq. All gains below 4000 where big but at 4000 everything kinda evened out. I think the intake manifold is 65mm but don't quote me on that. My TB is one from a Focus RS. Mine was bought as a kit with a extended connector for 105 shipped. (different vendor)

Why not just order a eco boost 2.3 throttle body from a new mustang. Far cheaper and a factory ford part...

It bolts up directly but requires some slight adapting, but at least 1 company makes a kit to adapt it and its only like $125 including the new TB

Damand motorworks makes a kit with 2.3 Tb, bolts, coupler, and extended wire harness for like $200 if that.
