BET raised the bar for biopics.

I'm glad they didn't highlight Bobby Brown in the movie. Because NE fans like myself and others already knew about Bobby on a basic level...but never knew about Ron, Ralph, or Mike PERSONALLY...ESPECIALLY RICKY! Who knew he went through that because you couldn't find anything about Ricky online outside of NE, BBD, and his solo album back in 2000. Then a lot of us didn't know Brooke Payne in a personal level either. So the movie gave us fans a deeper insight of the actual GROUP in and outside of music.

I will never forget doing extra chores around the house so I could get money for right on magazines just for the New Edition posters and pictures. Y'all have a FAN for life!!!!!!!!

Respect to the entire NE crew- Bobby, Mike, Ricky, Ralph, Ronnie, Johnny & Brooke!!! The NE movie was top notch- the cast did a wonderful job!!!!! It should have been 5 nights as so much was left out even just going up to 2005. NE movie pt 2 from 2005-2017/18???

As well as seeing them receive NE/solo music awards, the NE/Guy tour fight in 1989 that left 1 person dead, Blue Moon/NE Christmas album era, Ralph's drug issues, how Eddie Murphy helped the fellas out, seen the families move out of the projects, Bad Boy Records/One Love situation, Ricky's solo project Ricardo Campana, Ronnie's rap career and much more....

As epic as the series was I wished they would have gotten the 5 nights as Biv requested.

My 6 year old son has been obsessed with New Edition since this came out. I think this biopic is hands down the best one ever done. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. This has impacted many lives. I promise you

I love Yaz on Empire. And I'll tell you not once did I think of Empire when watching Yaz act as Mike.

Bob thought was "y'all need me to complete the shine" . even with that attitude the boys still didn't want to really sign without him . Ppl only know about Bob because of Whitney. Period.

And let's be honest, out of the six of them, who had the better career? Bell Biv DeVoe? Ralph Tresvant? Johnny Gill? No, now they had success. But not to the level of Bobby.

I love this interview it's amazing that NE have gained a new generation of fans after the movie. And rightfully so because this movie is excellent I can't stop watching it myself. It's good to know that the guys have put all their cards on the table and talked out their issues and hopefully the healing process will begin for them as a group. I am patiently waiting for that NE album and tour. :)

Biv took it very easy on Angie, because he has been putting the steam on the other NYC radio personalities over not just the last week or 2, but the last few months. Biv is not afraid lol. Shout outs to Biv for going to bat for NE in that major market. He has been trying to get NE the proper attention for years, and he is calling out them all for bandwagon jumping and for any shady comments. And watching them all back pedal is amusing. Especially ebro and envy. Flex too, to an extent. I think this also should put to rest the whole narrative of is their beef between NE and NKOTB. The beef was with Maurice Starr, not the NKOTB. As Biv just said, Donnie knows that NE likes them. Ronnie said he had went to some of their shows too. An NE/NKOTB concert would be historic. A bit of a different demographic, but it could work if marketed properly.

The NE/NKOTB tour was suppose to happen a few years ago along with an album but the only thing that materialized was a song between the 2 groups. A current NE/NKOTB tour would sell out arenas in my mind... NE may sell out arenas by themselves with all the hype they have going for them now.

Fuckin LOVE BBD and New Edition even more. I can never get sick of their stories. And I think it so humble of them that they never get sick of telling them over and over again. They seem more humble than I'd expect too.

The movie was great! These guys have been through a lot. 30 years in the industry, I consider them legends. The movie was well deserved, everyone wanted to hear their story. I know I did. I luv their Boston accents. I just luv them period! I luv Angie too!

This was SO good! I sat in Chipotle and watched the whole thing! 🤣😂🤣

I live for this group. This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE GROUP of all time. I could listen to their interviews all day long.

Damn shame that they never won a Grammy!!! These men are legends🙏🏾

You always hear the phrase, pass the baton. When you talk about Motown, the Temptations, Miracles and all the musical geniuses, you can actually see the baton being passed to these young cats, New Edition. Like that hard core MC, I cried throughout various parts of the movie. And the one scene that took me away was watching the actors in the studio singing Can You Stand the Rain. It was such a nice answer for me to the questions the other members would ask, when are we gonna get a chance to sing? And to see them sitting there together, singing Stand the Rain, and then their reactions at the end, reply that, I want to hear it again. Man, that was so sweet! And I have had so many of my family and friends ask me if I cried too, because they all were shedding tears! And with Trump, the protesting, not knowing what the future holds, this movie was right on time. It gave America a break from the madness to enjoy a lovely, huge piece of musical history and the legacies of the NEW EDITION. So these interviews, which I've watched just as many times as the movie, are the cherry on top!

This was a Really Really good 💯👍interview !!! I'm a guy & gotta say the movie bought a tear to my eyes to bcuz of like new edition song say, "these are the things that change BOYS TO MEN"!! He's been YouTubing R&B and HipHop from the 70s and 80s now. Thanks to ALL involved for allowing us to step back in time and relive our youth thru this story!

Aquarian Ink NE were a band and together on stage before DMC

What was so dope was how they played music from the era they came up on. At the end, they played the "Let's Get Married" remix by Jagged Edge. The original version appeared on "JE Heartbreak", a album paying homage to NE.

I love love New Edition!!!!! So happy for them!!!! Good Brothers!!! Nothing but love Baby!!!!

Grew up listening to these guys and it was news back then when Bobby left. Good to see they're really getting the recognition that they deserve even though some might say it was long overdue.

Just watched the whole Interview. What a wonderful way to top off the Mini Series. Ron was Instagram Live Streaming and said there will possibly be a DVD/ Blue Ray of the NE Movie.

I pray the new NE album has a very mature sound along the lines of the song they did with JG. That song is amazing and if they can pull off an album with that adult sound, that would be slamming.

I admit....I cried on the last part when they were performing for BET too! 😂😂😂 #NE4Life

I never ever comment usually but I really enjoyed this interview. I am a true loyal New Edition fan. Been rock'n with them for 30+ yrs. (not to tell my age) Lol... Ralph has always been my guy of course, but I just want to say I love the way Mike moves😉 and mesmerized by how humble and well spoken Ricky is. I think that's very sexy & breathtaking. New Edition brightens up my day, my spirit, and I will forever love them and wish them all nothing but the best.💋

I have to say , the reason It was a hard sell : New Edition is a very hood and urban R&B group. And some people that only listen to Mainstream hear all the hits , but they dont know its all connected. My sister text me the night of the movie like... I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT BOYS II MEN ??!! And all through my life when Im watching a documentary or behind the music on the group , my kids are always like , WAIT.. BBD IS IN NEW EDITION?? OR .. BOBBY BROWN WAS IN NEW EDITION??

I actually watched this entire interview. Loved it!

You can tell they've resolved some things since the movie came out. That breakfast club interview last week or so before the movie aired was so tense they sounded bitter. This is much more refreshing to see.

They were honestly bitter.......lol Good 2 see that the fellas recognize that you only live once as they all except Johnny came from the projects to right here and now together as a team. That movie was like therapy for the fellas to understand each others views and sacrifices (Ralph not leaving the fellas behind in the OP projects when Streetwise Records offered him a solo deal) each other made.

The point I was trying to make, was that the other 3 members of New Edition don't seem to joining these 3 on any of the interviews, which makes me wonder if things are not going so well between them behind the scenes. Either way, I'm really looking forward to new music from New Edition ☺
