Story:
Home help Ruth cares for Harry above and beyond the call of duty. She fetches his shopping, brings him meals, and makes sense of his paperwork. All in all, she's like a daughter to him.
When his health begins to decline, Ruth tries to discover friends or family to care for him but Harry insists there is no one, he's all alone in the world. She becomes even more concerned when a chance discovery reveals a sizable sum of money languishing in his bank account.

Such a bitter sweet story ,one of the best I have heard for some time.Characters that are so believable.Thank heavens for people that genuinely care for others.But did not like the abrupt ending.

Ruth, Tess, Harry each played their part superbly, and I thoroughly enjoyed this play. But like others have previously mentioned the ending was to short.

Moral of the story: Don't invest more in your job than you get paid.
Very believable. Nothing more than money to drive wedges between family members.
This is a bittersweet story that is quite believable. I knew a home health worker who was as genuinely kind as Ruth. People's lives are complicated, only God can make sense of all the brokenness we encounter and the hurt we inflict on others. Only the gospel of Jesus's great redemptive death and resurrection can make sense of what seems senseless.

So Ruth’s son and daughter gets the money.
It just stinks the way it ended. She got hit by a car and then the play ended. Or Did you, cut the Play Short. ?
Ruth is neurotic 😏....
Love the story but also, she was a little stubborn woman just keep the money you did what you did to help the man go see your grandkids go see your children no now she’s dead!!🥴
