I found him on a CNBC interview where he was featured and reached out to him afterwards. He has since provide entry and exit points on the securities I focus on. I basically follow his trade pattern and haven’t regretted doing so.

I really don't see how this was interpreted as being a gesture toward the audience. The BBC has its issues, but when I saw this I wondered if she was looking at the director, the producer, or one of the tech crew. You really think this does not go on among a group of people working under the pressure of deadlines and sometimes cranky technology in broadcast? Unfortunately, the presenter gets caught on camera when you can bet many middle fingers fly regularly between the studio and control room. GBNews, I like a lot of what you are doing, but lay off the cheap shots.

There is nothing wrong with being human, its the double standard that is the BIG problem.

They're doing a pretty good job of closing themselves down. In 2022 they lost an average of £11 million per month in revenue due to people not renewing TV licences. I hope GB News is ready to report on the state of this year's revenue.. It'll be down more than £11 mill per month I'm sure!!

Tomasz Schafernaker did exactly the same a couple of years back. He was gesturing to a newsreader when the camera switched to him. The clip has been shown on bloopers programmes a few times since. So? If anyone was genuinely offended, shocked, traumatised, devastated etc... by this young lady's mildly rude gesture they really need to get out more.

Just to clarify here. Towards the end it seemed that these 2 presenters are under the misapprehension that we all require a TV licence. We do not. Only if we watch live TV broadcasts or use iPlayer to watch live tv. Therefore you are NOT breaking the law and do not require the licence if you do not.

I haven't had a tv license for 32 years, This lady showing contemp fo her job/viewers and when you countdown you dont finish on your middle finger do you. I think the license should stay as if not they will impose a local tax as in Germany. So if you want live tv you pay a license! If not you dont!

The fee was supposed to be a wartime (WW2) only fee to pay overseas correspondents to report the news from the front but the BBC saw a gravytrain and just kept on taking the mick.

It had nothing to do with WW2. The licence fee started with the foundation of the BBC in 1922.

She was counting down actually. She even changed her attitude as soon as she started reporting the news.

Who needs the BBC? I certainly do not.

I'm with Bev on the presenter's motivation. It's obviously studio horseplay that got caught on camera. I'm also with Andy on the BBC's attitude and treatment of the license fee payers however. The Beeb is an abhorrence.

Who knows who it was aimed at - probably the production staff. However just shows how they instantly turn on the false gravitas when the news starts.

Don't watch the bbc or pay their licence fee but that was funny.

First honest thing on BBC since they issued on the ticker-tape under the broadcast the statement "Man Utd are rubbish" a few years ago, (which they were and to be quite frank still are) so three cheers to the BBC for good honest reporting albeit very rarely. As for her 'mistake' probably it was. but that is EXACTLY what the BBC think of the British public, so she made a mistake ... perhaps .... but journalists and backroom staff are now cheering and I am sure Ms Mariam Al Moshiri will be voted "Employee of the Month" and probably get a bonus.

It was obviously a joke.
