BBC Lifeline Appeal 2020 - Whizz Kidz

We are excited to share the news that Whizz-Kidz has raised over £125,000 in our biggest BBC Lifeline Appeal.
The appeal, which was broadcast on BBC One on Sunday April 26th, repeated on BBC Two on Monday 27th, and also available on BBC iPlayer, was viewed in total by over 986,000 people.
The BBC has helped raise money for hundreds of charities across the UK and abroad for over 25 years through its Lifeline Appeals and in April Whizz-Kidz was given the fantastic opportunity to be featured.
The film was presented by Steph McGovern, with interviews with Whizz-Kidz celebrity ambassador Ruth Madeley and McKenzie, Flo and Millie-Rose, shared their story about the impact Whizz-Kidz has had on their lives.
We’d also like to thank long-term Whizz-Kidz supporters Barratt Developments who generously pledged to match funds raised through the appeal. For the first £30,000 donated through the appeal the company gave £1 for every £1 donated, meaning the value of donors gift was doubled.
