Although this video is about Jack, and no one will ever be more loved in Ireland, I want to give a special hat tip to Mark Lawrenson. Lawrenson was an absolute world-class defender.

@@imedi along with 10 others! quality just aint there at the moment... even if we got a top manager anyone would find it hard with the player pool and that's unfortunately the cold hard truth.

@@joelyons886 I read somewhere that Mark Lawrenson is the only player to win a league winners medal and be relegated in the same season. Won the league with Liverpool and was then relegated with Oxford United.

@@anthonyscott1089 he left Pool in 88 and took manager job at Oxford but they were dead in water before he arrived, that Oxford team though a few years prior had Houghton and Aldo

Absolutely. I’d love to relive the excitement of Italia 90 again.
The amount of times I mitched off class to watch Jacks Ireland team was great. I think my education was lacking after missing so much class but well worth it. Growing up Jack was so highly regarded in Ireland. It was his character. He knew the Irish so well in regards to culture and craic.

Its the hair
Miss them all, everyone on them.
Mark’s hair reflects Liverpool’s season. Lacking up front. Threadbare in the middle. Missing coverage at the back. Mark truly lives and breathes Liverpool. Quality player in his day though. Legend.
He did so much for Ireland 🇮🇪, more than the majority of our so called Leaders and Politicians, why because he was a normal man from a normal background and treated everyone with respect! A class act, and will never be forgotten in Ireland and the UK. RIP Sir.
Jack Charlton legend..never forget the homecoming in Dublin college green..check it out on KZread 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪 1990 world cup
And I heard he actually fell asleep while meeting the pope!?! Legend!?! Gone but not forgotten!?! Rip Jack Charlton!?! The man the myth the legend!?!

He fell asleep and when he woke up the Pope had his hands in the air blessing the Holy communion, looking in Jack's direction. Big Jack thought he was waving at him and waved back...... Legend of a man.
love it
Jack is from. My home town I had the honour to be taught to play football by Jack and Bobby's mother

I only watched the below interview with Jack and his mum Cissy earlier this week.. You never know, you could be in the clip of her coaching 👍🏻 Seems the apple didn't fall far from the tree, seems a wonderful woman, just like Big Jack.. m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/ip-czcecZJC-o7A.html
I’ve a photo with my dad and Jackie charlton and he was very easy going and got on like an ordinary person on the street I’ll always be privalged to be in his company for 5 minutes may you rest in peace big man
Rip big Man.🍀
St. Jack
1.25 that’s an old Picasso story. He always paid for meals using a checque. He never paid for a meal in his life:)
I wish those framed cheques come out auction..
Big Jack said that the story about the cheque was "a load of crap".
Ayup boss
The cheque story was an old Stanley Matthews joke reshashed. It annoyed Jack!
