Taran's insight on how men who have been raised with "traditional" ideas of masculinity end up feeling martyred when they realize that there are other ways to exist is such an important conversation

I totally agree it needs to be talked about. I chafe at the idea that all masculinity is toxic. The word misogyny is thrown around way too often.

I totally agree and not to be this person, but race has a factor here too. Lots of times black men don’t have the space/freedom to express other types of masculinity without EXTREME ostracism. I think that’s where lots of Jared’s rigidity comes from.

Disagree! This isn’t what society now is advocating- it’s time to get with this generation, no longer put expectations that you’re learned when growing up. The point is we know those upbringing thoughts were incorrect and unfair so the more you speak up on that’s how you view them shows ignorance on your part. My advice is to surround yourself with various people and question views that no longer serves us.

Also kinda outs who the viewers like and who they don’t, would love to see them do something like this on a future season. Maybe they could do a popularity poll and ask the players to privately compose a list and whoever is closest gets some sort of power.

Getting in with Felicia while also making a showmance alliance would allow her to play both sides and get to the end where Jared and her would be in an optimal position. What’s ignorant about it is categorizing a male if not masculine or acts a certain way they must be “Gay” .. why are we thinking that and who care if they’re bi or gay, straight!?! I am strong believer to call out those biases to make the world a better place. We should allow a male feel his emotions and not have to hide them because they will be seen as weak, all of us are human feel emotions and get upset, some more than others. Being gay, straight or bi has nothing to do with it.

Women are not a prize! And agree its not the mother's fault for son's problematic behavior. Its a double standard, if you blame mother than blame the other parent (father) But whats more productive besides convos btwn parent/children better yet, stop toxic masculinity in every conversation everywhere. Call it out. Name it.

She’ll miss if she attempts the shot at Cirie but she should definitely be able to take out Izzy. Put her up against maybe Felicia or Jared and she’s gone. I’m not sure she’ll do it though, I think she’ll get too scared to go against the Fields’ and will just take out Cam or Red or something instead, or put Izzy up against either one of them and Cirie will rally the troops to keep Izzy.
