whats even funnier is that in 11/12 chelsea won the cl, 12/13 bayern won the cl. in 19/20 bayern won the cl, 20/21 chelsea win. Wow!

The final was really painful for me.(one of the reasons I've been avoiding this video) I started supporting Bayern as a kid during the struggle periods of the mid to late 2000s. I was so hopefully with a sense of pride but it all came crashing down. Thankful that we won it the next time. Great great video. Love the quality and passion put into the documentary.

Haha same for us CFC fans, the horror of 2008 is too much to bear. Even 2002, 07 and 09 were awful as well - despite not reaching the finals. But I was glad to see this Bayern team get rewarded for their efforts the next year. Was a wholesome and deserving victory for a great team.

Football never forgets so it was fate that we knock his Madrid side that was also arguably the best ever RM squad. Football is always full of these moments.

It's such an amazing story especially what those 2 clubs went through before getting there that year and also the start of another real madrid dynasty. This story is so fascinating. From Atletico going from being in segunda division to being in the UCL final

What a history between these two clubs to the 2012 CL final. I remember i saw that game is a kid. I was more known of Bayern Munich and was totally surprised that Chelsea won. Later at older age i understand what legend team Chelsea also had and they deserved it after so many years with ups and downs. But i honestly felt really bad for Bayern and especially for Schweinsteiger. But thankfully they came back next year to win everything they missed! 👏🏻 Another fantastic video about football and history. I cant wait for more! Greetings! 👋🏻🇳🇱

This brought back memories. I was in Delhi watching the final at a sports bar which had the Ten Sports commentary crew (South Asian region broadcasters) sitting there. Muller's goal almost killed me, I was crestfallen. But that Drogba strike from our only corner of the game gave me hope. And what a night it was, I dropped to my knees when that penalty went in. Couldn't believe it , the way we did it and the spirit of that side. Just amazing, one of the greatest underdog CL win in history.

And whats most ridiculous is people crying, litterally crying when their team dont win. its childish af and unless youre a player on the losing team you look ridiculous crying. 2012 uefa cl final stages always gives goosebumps, everyone was expecting an el classico in the final and especially after how real and barca were going toe to toe in the league that season before ronaldos goal killed barcas hope and of course due to the peak "pep vs jose" era but chelsea having a poor league season went on to make a sensational comeback against napoli and eliminate barca in the semis whereas bayern vs real game was like a rollercoaster till it went to penalties which also had a lot to offer with neuer saving ronaldos and kakas penalty and ramos blasting it into the crowd... PS.- Also the EPL that season ended in an unbelievable manner.. Aguerooooo!!...probably one of the best seasons ever

The difference is that Chelsea's journey stopped there while Bayern's was only just beginning.
