I would not be surprised if he is, quite a few top level coaches expected him to become an incredible coach, but I doubt any of them expected this so early. He's absolutely sensational for Leverkussen. When he took over last year you could see that the seeds for this season were being sown. But even though I said that they'd be ones to watch, I did not expect them to perform this well, it's an incredible team to look at.

Álex Grimaldo has always been a baller. He is one of the best attacking left back in the world only because he was in benfica people did not notice, but if you know Ball, you know him almost like trent Trent Alexander-Arnold nothing he can't do accurate free kick taker, fantastic crosser, accurate shot and passes I can't believe he just got his first call up to the national team am shocked better late than never.

as a Benfica fan, this type of goal from Grimaldo doesnt surprise me and my fellow Benfica fans anymore, he's been at this level for so so long! I was always surprised how we managed to keep him for so many years, even after his amazing CL games. He earned this moment!!

I think it's because EPL don't see him as physically strong enough to survive an entire season, La Liga is in economic transition mode (besides Madrid, not many paid a lot for transfers this season, even Barca was scouting for free agents, plus they rarely ask former academy players like him who left, to return to play for first team, it's an insult to them) and there are no top teams in Serie A who don't already have quality or home grown players whom he can displace. Now he is at Bayer, he would stay for Champions League next season too, so good on them.

Xabi really got a proper team together. Watched a few of his drills, have these guys moving like clockwork. It's sad that in recent years the BL has switched to selling talent, they have something really exciting there this season.

I must say that Leverkusen look the real deal. Some exceptional talent.

Their tactics last year was parking the bus in the penalty area. In addition, everyone underestimated them. This year they wanted to make a step forward to attractive football and had many good transfers. But everyone is taking them more seriously now and has no problems with breaking their newly built-up, more slack defence.

@@sksksksksk7458 Atleast Ajax is slowly recovering now. Also they had some draws in between. But Union Berlin had continuous 13 losses in a row until drew with Napoli. Now they a facing 4 straight clean sheet loss in Bundesliga. Compared to them, Ajax is way more better. Now Manchester United recovered, Chelsea recovered, Ajax recovered. Hope Union Berlin will recover as well.

Nah - would rather we go all out in all competitions. The DFB Pokal in particular looks as winnable as it has been in a long time, first place in the UEL group is all but secured so no Thursday nights for a while and whilst we are doing amazing right now, it is just 11 matches into the season - if we are still in contention in March after the AFCON, then we will maybe have that conundrum
