Yesterday, Bay Haven families gathered near campus to honor this milestone, reenacting Ruby's walk and wearing purple shirts to stand against racism and bullying. With a unique tie to history, Bay Haven School of Basics Plus became the first integrated Sarasota County school in 1962.
