Inem, all the caribbean gets the seaweed every year, However, in spots like punta cana this is very well controlled...this video was recorded 2 weeks ago...what you see in the video is how the beach looks like right now

If you go to bayahibe instead of punta cana you will never find seaweed 👍🏽

That's the Occidental Caribe ( Former Barcelo Punta Cana), the spot is part of Bavaro Beach which we strongly recommend. However, I DO NOT recommend this hotel in particular. Explore all the options nearby ( same beach). Just not that hotel

@@TheDominicanRepublic We stayed at Occidental Caribe 3 times between 2017 - 2019 and enjoyed our stay each time. We are hoping to get back next February. Has something changed?
