as someone who speaks mandarin, fa shih doesnt mean "Master of Methods". It's gibberish. The closes i can think of is 法师 Fǎshī. Falu (Law) + Shifu (Master). Pronounced "Fa-a shee", it means wise elder, usually a monk. Western equivalent would be a magi/mage

There's real potential here for great RP with characters in powered armor. I want a Shadowrun style game set in the Battletech world so bad. Cyber'd up power-armored doom-jockeys sound like a lot of fun to me.

The Fa Shih armor unique for it time, its only one until later that used magnetic clamps and mines. It was highly useful battle armor when you only have standard 'mechs around, especially since the Capellans won't have additional Omnis (home brews) until well into 3130s. Thanks for keep doing these BattleTech lore videos!

I've always thought the Trinity BA should have been called the Triad given the fact that the Capellan's built these things like gangsters. 😁

I love the base Theseus/Asterion. Just such an efficient, cheap basic "trooper" BA. Real example of KISS working out well. About the only way to really improve them would be adding magnetic clamps, an anti-personnel mount and changing on of the two battle claws to a simple armored glove.

Many of these details and aspects certainly are reflective of 'our real world' reality which was the derivative inspiration. These models were unknown to me, no surprise. The Fa Shih, well, comes across as typical for the Capellans. The mining function and focus is unique and more dictinct among the battle armor that you have Narrated thus far. The Trinity is more like it; a model - models - that have come out of the native innovative potential of the Capellans, too often untapped. Regardless of being built upon "adaptation" from other factions. Properly more-elegant than the Fa Shih. Thank you for all videos Battletech, GDN!

I lately ordered Fa Shih and Trinity battle armors. I mean figurines, not the real one. I also looks something which can act as a Capellan infantry.
