One of favorite thing to do in MechWarrior 3 was to strip an Annihilator down and put the biggest engine I could in there, two LBX/10s or AC 20s, max armor or some jump jets, and literally run circles around anything on the field. It was absolutely ridiculous. Especially the Running Animation. The thing was Naruto running before Naruto came out. Essentially a 100 ton Locust or Flea.

Got a Bullshark in the Battletech computer game that I built for obscene amounts of stability damage. Annihilator tipping still hasn't gotten old

In battletech, I had the grace to be able to get two of them. So I outfitted them in two different load outs, ballistics and laser. The ballistics one had a guass rifle and 2 AC/20 and a single UAC/20, it’s purpose was to eradicate any other high priority target. The second one as outfitted with 2 PPC’s, 2 ER Large lasers and 2 ER Medium lasers, it was my multipurpose mech, good at all ranges and can cause a lot of damage. It was glorious when I fired them together, able to take a shot and give it back ten fold.

The design legit unnerves me, even when I am the one piloting it. It's such an alien looking 'Mech, I cannot get over it. When I encounter one again, I'll buy it and reserve it for that one multi-mission when all is lost.

I love it as a sniper mech! My Annihilator has 4 Ultra AC 5's and a pair of Med Lasers for back up. Otherwise it has much more Armor than is normal, 2 Jump Jets for positioning, as well as a massive 6 tons of ammunition.

Match that Mech with a pilot with 10 Gunnery, and at least 8 Tactics, and you have a lovely Sniper who can take heads off in single salvos using Precision Targeting. I, pretty much load my Sniper Pilot into a Marauder with a Gauss Rifle and a pair of Large Lasers, with jump jets to enable positioning... and have a field day with him. My Annihilators end up bring up the rear, at long ranges, peppering the enemy with their quad ACs of whatever type, opening large holes in other Mechs that the Sniper is not killing with one shot. Should my Sniper miss however, the big boys do a real number on the follow through and usually take the target down without much fuss. An Atlas primarily set up for brawling completes the squad, and enables the team to finish up a Mech that somehow survives the pummeling of firepower, usually with a single blow. The Sniper Pilot's Mech I try to add a 3-plus type TTC (ballistic) to for added accuracy, along with the highest plus weaponry I can lay my hands on. The Atlas gets the highest arm mods I can find, along with the best plus small lasers, and other weapons. The Annihilators are always first to get the best TTCs I can find, along with the highest plus weapons... because 'more dakka' is a thing, ya know? :)

My favourite mech in the whole of the franchise I make a racca dakka variant RAC/5 / RAC2 with ac10/ac20 Autocannons or ultra autocannons

When you wanted to be godzilla but only got giant robots to play around with instead. The Annihilator, for when the murder-building needs to come to you!

Facing an Annihilator I found the best way to take one down is to mount a bigger gun than it carries and pummel it at long range before it can bring it's own firepower to bare. When i fought Yamata's AN-1X I was torn to pieces in a head on fight in my Marauder, second time I learned my lesson and used my AS-7D to blind side it at an elevated position while ordering my missile boats to rain hell on it. The mech didn't get far from it's deployment point before going down in that engagement.

@@BTpaintballer Tried that once before. Didn't really play well to my combat style though. Besides for that mission specifically it's pretty Ammo dependent.

This thing lives up to its name. The four LB-10X autocannons have the same effect on light mechs as a sawed off shotgun has on humans.

One of my favorite, if not the favorite 100 tonner. From the days of reading about them on Misery, to the First time I piloted one in MW3, I've loved this Ugly Bastard. The Gausszilla, and RAC variants in Rogue tech have to be my favorites. Playing BT Heavy Metal right now, and I'm running a Two Gauss, 1 LB10X, 4 medium laser build. Tied into a +3 TTS Ballistic, ( oh, and definitely maxed out armor).I can take the head clean off an Atlas.

I always just added four Heavy Rifles to this sumbitch and broadsided entire lances into oblivion

I love Annihilators. I have like 5 metal Annihilator miniatures. I'm an oldskool Wolf's Dragoons girl, so I needed a few. I've almost finished a company of Assault Mechs (Tara Lucas' red trim unit) for WD Zeta Battalion, and they have an Annihilator in each Lance.

I replaced the load out on mine in mw5 with 2 SB Gauss, 2 ER PPC, and 4 ER Medium Lasers. With a compliment of 4 tons of ammo and 6 double heat sinks.

gotta love the annihilator one of my go to assault mechs in the battletech game throw some RAC 5s on it thanks for another great video dude

No joke, but I managed to salvage an ANH-1A and fitted it with 2 Gauss Cannons and UAC/5s in the Battletech PC game and it pretty much cores everything in one shot.

I have several Annihilators in the PC game. My standard squad includes 2 with 2x ER PPC and 5x UAC2s providing line of sight fire support. They have jump jets so they can always take the high ground. Called head shots on anything out in the open will kill up to heavy mechs on the first shot without question and they have enough heat sinks to keep everything firing unless they are in martian or lunar environments. I have a couple of front tanks built between Atlas, King Crab, Highlander, and yes, Annihilator models that all sport max armor and jump jets so they can go cause havoc while the long range snipers and the LRM boat keep the pressure on.

Never used an Anihilator before, but it seems to be a pretty awesome assault mech.

The Annihillator is the Super Saiyan form of an Urbie...prove me wrong.😜😁

Previous to the introduction of the Bull Shark, the Annihilator was probably the best 'dakka' Mech in existence. Just like previous to the 3062 Mod, the 3 large laser Awesome was far more efficient than the 'normal' one, and over time, did more damage due to NOT overheating.

Best as pure Railgun mech *HEADSHOT*

I love the Annihillator, but by Gawd its as slow as an Urbie without the benefit of Jump Jets.

@@GrimDarkNarrator For some reason I have trouble finding and reliably aiming at the cockpit of the urbanmech so its one of the light mechs I almost never one shot

My ANNlHlLAT0R's an ANH-JH, according to its lore description, its a custom version created by BLACK WlD0W C0MPANY; I armed it with 4 UAC 2O from KALl YAMA; however, l dunno if its a canonical MECH since my BATTLETECH 2O18 has M0DS installed.

Own all of these including the Mean Baby. Seriously awesome ballistics platform. Tons of armor in internal structure to keep it in the fight long enough to warrant the outfitting on some energy weps due to ammo expenditure.

been playing mechwarrior 5 got the Hero mech version of this in the industrial hub to the left of the Terra Industrial hub cluster Gotta love the 4 AC10s just shredding anything I see

Even at its highest, it only got an animated series that lasted briefly. A new animated series would be the best way to do it, though, in my opinion.

...The UrbanMech's Big Brother on steroids! ...When my Merc unit got their hands on one in the 3050's, we kept the original standard Medium Lasers, replaced the torso-mounted LB-10X autocannons with LRM-20 racks (both with Artemis FCS & CASE), & added 2 Flamers for anti-infantry work. It also possessed a C3 slave unit to work more effectively with its Lance mates.

God, I love this guy's accent. What kind of accent is it?

Realy wana run a 3a with armor piercing rounds. Bet this mech will live up to its name XD. With 8rolls of the dice every firing faze im sure to roll boxcars or snake eyes. Also realy hate the Inerspheres use of XL engines... and the annihilator seems to avoid them like the plague like me. Use them in a light otherwise I want staying power on the battlefield.

@@GrimDarkNarrator I used this in Battletech. With so many bullets, it makes Head Hunting look easy! With a Ballistic TTS, Atlases and King Crabs were a joke!

I dont like it. Why? Is Very Big and Very Tall target. And also very slow. Dire Wolf is much much better because he has better profile and same and even more firepower and speed.
