I love how the clips used are basically in reverse order of the HBS Battletech game. Kamea gets the throne, wins her landhold, THEN the warriors die.

I like how their pronunciation of English is subtly different from how we speak nowadays, such as saying 'man' and 'men' the same. Along with the occasional vowel backing and shortening ("recon lance" vs "rēcon lance") and a general reduction of fricatives("wit women wine and song"). It's a nice reminder that the languages spoken in the Sphere are different from ours, even if they are mostly the same (minus the odd Japanese-Swedish creole).

I was personally more invested in the narrative I made myself for my MC and his merry band of fighters. Strandfell's Striders. Mediocre among Legends. Famed for the Aurigan Restoration campaign. Also named after the leader's callsign. His Blackjack got tripped by infantry in his youth

That was freaking outstanding! Kind of how I always pictured the song in my head.

This sounds like an old Landsknecht song.

I don't know why but this song make me feel like endless loop of wars, endless loop of "survival"

I don't know why, but everytime i hear this song and songs like it, it always gets to me and I shed a tear for men who die defending their homes and families. Well done on the song, Gecko.

​@@CrazyGecko in 2:30 there is a translation error, phraze "Hold the line!" translated as "Nie odkładać słuchawki!" which means in English "don't hang up the phone" 😂. The rest of the translation is rather correct.

1. Mad Cat 2. Bushwacker 3. Firefly The Bushwacker is just so iconic to me; it's the first Mech I ever piloted in a real MechWarrior game (I played MechAssault way before I had my own computer), and it is just so damn good for a medium Mech. I'll probably never use the Firefly, but for me it is synonymous with the older artstyles, like on the cover art for the Crescent Hawk's Inception, and several old pieces of work from the 80's. Love me some 80's and 90's Mechs. (P.S: Jaguars forever!)

Fantastic editing skills, just feel the live action segments ruin the flow. Great use of hair-brained skieme wonderful looking art scapes. Its sorta the best part of thier shite game, and I have a feeling they outsourced them XD. But ill leave my spite for HBS at the door.

It's my favorite game, but subjectivity doesn't change the objectivity failures of the game. The community seems to like the two major mods though. I need to try eventually. If I had money to burn, I'd try to go for a online multiplayer, tabletop stile, quite similar to the HBS gameplay, but correcting their mistakes and shortcomings. In these, you could go from the tradicional mercenary company, to armed forces (all of them, not only 'Mechs) and even politicians. I would try to bring the universe online.

Regardless it makes searches for battletech related things a nightmare, as now you will get the HBS game instead for results from several forums.... So I judge it hard on all its failings. As It feels in most cases Lazy, beyond just failure to think ahead with their tittle...
