Bro if you're on controller you're an absolute machine, that's the most precise timing I've ever seen. I thought you were on mouse because of that shuffle walk you did on Bespin, I thought was only possible on mouse and keys GGs though man I had a lot of fun in these duels as well

Remember when there was a discovery on scarif where you could see a star destroy and rebel ship in the sky through the scope without aiming? Hard to explain but yeah.. I feel like that proved their vision was INcomplete. Who knows, Maybe the "vision" will be complete with a battlefront III

Amazing episode very interesting. You did pretty well imo mouse & keyboard has huge advantage. On pc especially those with smooth movement and quick characters become absolute destroyers it's sometimes very hard to play HvV on pc.

People on mouse and keyboard really do have an advantage, that's why it's so rough doing HVV on PC. You did surprisingly well against him tho.

you can parry the claw rush btw. give it a shot on the next matches.

For lightsaber dueling, do you think using a trackball mouse would be a good idea?

For yoda, what I usually do is jump and buff then you can dash when you hit the ground and it by passes the buff animation

I have question bazar, how do you do abilities while jumping, like lukes push or kylos pull?

Those are the only two. Just jump and right before you reach the peak press the ability button

Yoda is all about getting subtle hits in constantly and never letting their health regenerate with the dashes. Be unpredictable with him

Yoda is objectively bad in 1v1s because his swing/parry animation takes so long. You open yourself up to hits even when parrying, which is an issue no other saber character has.

@@Harmonic14 ah so you aren’t creative enough to find ways to make that work? His buff for himself makes him one of the most survivable saber characters in the game. This, along with his ability to hit through block on the dashes makes up for the WEAKNESS of having slow swing animations. His knockdown is also one of the easiest to follow up in the game

Hey this might be a bit unrelated to the video but do you know how I can get my reaction time for parries better in saber combat? Every time I try parry in hvv it is always too late and my opponent will parry my failed parry and it really frustrates me :(

It's all about predicting the attack. If you wait to time it you'll usually miss, so you have to predict when they strike. If they're spamming on you it's usually easier to time it. The key is to hit the attack button RIGHT as their saber makes contact with yours.

Hold onto block when your opponent hits you then immediately strike back. Then immediately block.

Maybe I'm just better with controllers but I have a gaming PC for non-BF2 games and last year I downloaded and played BF2 on the PC and found I was waaaayyy worse with saber heroes on the mouse and keyboard than I am on the PS4. I mean it was pathetic. The fluidity was gone. I was jumpy and angular if that makes sense. I feel I can control so much more with the controller when playing a saber hero. Blasters were something else, however. Had way more control.

Dam the internet connection so fast.

A good Yoda with good movement, should use the star card with + 3 dash attacks. Consistently dash attacking them, which will stop their health regeneration. To stop people parrying you’re dashes, get closer to the target before you dash, leaving them less time to react, If you dash at them and they see you coming they’re more likely to parry you. Circle you’re opponent, be unpredictable, use you’re environment around you.

Yes he has a KZread channel and he posted the same duel on his channel haha you guys were in multiple matches lol

Dice could have very easily made echo fighters in this game (echo fighter being a term from smash bros where an echo character is essentially the same or very similar in moveset to another character) Like for example Ashoka could have Anakins force pull, mauls spin dash, and maybe reys lightsaber rush. Maybe the speed and health of maul the stamina and attack speed of Luke, and I think she should have the worst attack damage in the game of lightsabers because she has the best speed and attack speed already. For Mace windu he could have anakins heroic might. Obiwans force push and Vader’s lightsaber throw. He could have 800 health the second best block in the game. A good health regen. Pretty low attack speed he could share the same attack animations as obi wan or Anakin. The speed of obiwan. Qui gon. Qui gon could have yodas presence Dookus exposed weakness but the animation is of a mind trick. And obi wans defensive rush Padme could have Leias middle ability is a primary blaster, and switches to leias pistol as a middle ability. She could have a standard normal grenade. And she could also have a squad shield that doesn’t heal you but u can shoot out of. See what I mean. Dice can just borrow abilities and attributes from other characters or even reinforcements, and make characters really easy

Yeah there is a delay between Yoda blocking, dodge back once and you should be all good.

If youre trying to 1v1 a buddy,get both of you guys to go to the options tab,hit ea account,then go to switch ping. Choose something like Germany or somewhere super far from you guys. Then start up a queue at the exact same time,then when youre in the game,if youre laggy cuz of the ping change just simply switch it back:) hope this helped

@Thanos You have 0 arguments as to why it gives a big advantage compared to controller you dont need to be that precise with saber combat unlike with blasters and the game also has saber tracking. Only thing I have noticed is its easier to hook slash on a mouse there is a small advantage but nothing crazy its not really enough to make up for ones own skill one way or the other.

@Thanos Lightsaber combat is definitely better on controller because movement is better. Your "aim" doesn't matter because you block in a >180 degree radius, and you lock on when swinging. As long as you can turn decently fast you aren't at a disadvantage against kbm.

So basically he just won using Vader and Grievous aka the OP villains on BF2. Not that impressive tbh.

what's funny is the guy you were playing against wasn't even good. legit, for pc standarts he would get slapped around like a dog chewing toy. what i'm saying is not that you are a bad player, you're good with a controller, but the mouse and keyboard combo really gives a huge advantage.

Nah theres a clip of him shuffling in a way that can only be done on mouse and keys. I'll include in the next vid. We got a lot of duel footage lol He said he was using a controller so I'll take his word for it

What is the point using a mouse and a keyboard on consoles? Is it just for the ego, despite the fact that it is an unfair advantage? It must be the same people who are using hacks in Battlefront 2 on PC. Last week, I've encountered a cheater who used a damage booster which was just ridiculous. His Lando (Level 1 of course) melted my Darth Vader in full health with 2-3 hits - yeah, what a feat to do this. Supplement: Great respect to Napalmed - who really used a PS4 - Controller. He is therefore excluded from my aforementioned critic. It would also be fair to change the title of this video to fix this misunderstanding.

That's actually possible without damage booster you can do it with sharp shot boosted headshots.

@@llovehumanity No, it isn't. He just melted down our team - 2 hits and you were done. Everyone (even his random team mates) noticed that he was cheating and he was reported. And remember - he was a Level 1 hero. And his shots were the whole time this deadly. I have also faced the same hack by someone playing Phasma or a lightsaber hero. It is rare but sometimes you just find these cheaters. You will notice it - the cheater is then nearly invincible. Three or even four lightsaber players are charging in, then all are dead except of him. He alone will defeat the enemy team - as I said, it is ridiculous.

Yeah i don't think so. I play dooku and vader with the same accuracy but i guess that means he uses mouse & Keyboard because he's better than you.
