I really hate playing against defensive heroes. Especially Vader, when I know he can do a lot of damage

Learn to parry against Vader with Yoda , if you can already its and easy victory to pick him apart whilst landing your dash efficiently .

Same I hate players who think they're good duelists who just stand there, holding block and dodging, waiting to try and capitalize off your attacks. There's playing defensively and then there's just relying on parry and force abilities. I see a lot of Anakins, Vaders and Obi-Wans do this.

@@bxvin9788 I try not to get into parry spams, especially since some characters like Luke have faster swing speeds or more damage and health like Anakin or Vader. For most duels, I try to either get behind them or try to bait them into using their abilities and capitalizing on it. If you can time dodge or block a push or repulse, etc and then quickly go in for a strike. Once you start chipping away at their health, they begin to get nervous and will either become desperate or predictable. A defensive Vader is probably the most difficult to deal with.

You should consider to rename your channel to The Star Bazaar's Jedi Academy - time and again are you able to create these entertaining and instructive videos which show the magic of these 1 vs 1 duels in the game. Thumbs up for this great content!

Blocking the whole time is super lame. Like do something, don’t just sit there and waste everyone’s time. And like he said at that point it’s not even a duel.

@@Jits75 Okay well if your ability loop fails by getting blocked, and say your hits don't register or get evaded, it's so easy to lose your stamina for your opponent to counter and crush you. He has the weakest stamina on the light side which makes him difficult to use.

Hes trash I sit here and watch and at the perfect moments that he can use Passionate Strike he doesnt even use it... please dont use character if you spam only 1 or 2 skills

Just wanna say, ever since I got battlefront 2 in 2017 I've always really struggled with lightsabre duelling. I never understood why because I was decent at it in battlefront 2015, and then a few days ago I watched one of your videos where you said it is important to turn up your sensitivity for duelling and low and behold it has made me so much better overnight, I legit now win about 80% of my duels. I don't know why but it just never occurred to me that that might be the problem, just wanna thanks for helping me out, and keep up the good work.

Tip: for Anakin, I would recommend using passionate strike more often after a heroic might/ force pull combo rather than just swinging your saber especially if your low on stamina

Sometimes when I play showdown..... I like to challenge myself..... the round is 5 minutes...... ill try to survive the whole match just with defense tactics. Block dodge block dodge. I get nasty messages for it sometimes...... but it has really helped me with learning better defense.

Yoo Star, my friend told me about this 🤩that’s awesome man! I appreciate this a lot the reason I was playing defensive was because most people tend to mess up and waste their dashes after force abilities so I was practicing managing dashing and making sure I dash only when it’s necessary😉nice hook pushes by the way🙌🏽

Anakin has been having a handy capped moment lately with his Heroic Might ability, I tapped it and he's starts pushing a giant turd out as hard as he can while Dooku just has his way with his backdoor, if I wanted to hold it I would hold it ya know 😂😂😂 got me killed a few times today 😂😂

Yeah, I hate using him because I know HM is just going to get me killed 70% of the time. Although, a good Anakin, with his blocks and dodges, only really needs to get up close as he can power through you, especially with his back swing. You try to block or dodge his attack and his back swing ends up doing damage anyway. With his damage and health card, you can't trade blows with him.

@@lhfinatl7068 honestly Anakin is just as tricky as Dooku when it comes to dodges, for me personally. Just the way he does them and the way they connect and the damage in the back aswell.

That vader hook, he turd the camera to face you even if you doged the Saber hit your hitbox. Perfect vision dice EA

Kylo is fun when you got your timing down. He's a very tactical player. If you can read your player and bait them, Kylo is like a surgeon.

The fight with dooku depends, because if the level with dooku for that guy is really low not like with vader that he haves it 200 and something, well that means he didn't how to fight with dooku and he didn't want to lose against to a guy who really knows to use Luke. Basically he didn't want to lose so he just went defense all the timw.

You win even with lag, I am lagging and also being noob...

Do you know how to get into a 1v1 with a friend on ps4? If not i can teach ya but it'd be amazing to dule you, very honorable dules even on lag

I swear this game, I sometimes be blocking and I still get pulled or damage by light sabers, lag is bad but then again I play mostly HvV. I have to play aggressive most of the time no point in playing defensively if my blocking don’t work, pisses me off a lot. Also there would be sometimes I’d be blocking just trying to hold my ground. I block the saber but for some reason my character for no reason turns around and take the sabers to the back making high damage, at this point I blame the game and to add to that maps that have ledges, it seems my character have an invisible rope that guides me down every time to the abyss. Yea it’s the game.

That Dooku probably glitched, certain moves don’t allow you to do any offensive actions

If you can master your dodges- control and parry’s and play very aggressive- your a very hard target to kill

It's very slow, regular attacks are faster. I prefer to use it as a block breaker or finisher, when the target is just blocking and backing up

3 bars is considered bad for duels? That explains a lot. I always have three bars, the entire time. Not once have I not had the meter showing up on top. So much so that I thought the meter being there was a feature of the game. Unexplainable hits going through my blocks, my hits not connecting, force abilities not being activated when I hit the button, it all makes sense now. Glad to know I'm probably not AS bad a player as I think

Hi, I have recently started playing a lot of new characters and branching out. I notice your hero tips videos are slightly outdated, I think, so could you possibly update them? Or, if you don't want to, respond with some tips for Rey/Yoda/Kylo/Maul that aren't the usual ones, such as using Yoda's size/speed, chaining Kylo's abilities, using Maul's speed? Thanks.

I am a fairly experienced Kylo player so here is a tip for him. try not to pull, freeze frenzy. Try to pull, 1 hit, frenzy or freeze, 1 hit, then frenzy. since you're freeze or pull already immobilizes them there's no point in using frenzy right after since you're already guaranteed one hit and frenzy's last it is a block breaking. This tip helps to always keep one of your ranged abilities off cooldown this tip alone has made me a much more deadly 1v1ist with kylo

@@samuelfry9043 Trooper modes: 'Closing in' and 'Power Reach' so Frenzy and Pull have greater range. 'Harsh Pull' so that your Pull does more damage so you can one shot most troopers after you pulled them. Hero modes: 'Power Reach' for extra range on Pull again. 'Bloodlust' for extra Frenzy damage. The third card depends if you have lots of blaster heroes or not. If you do, run 'Power of darkness' but if you don't run 'Berserking tantrum' for extra attack stamina

Supremacy has been horrendous. In the clone wars after 1 attempt on the ship the game breaks for me. Today I was glitched and I was stuck using Grievous whenever I died and I could spawn on command posts or my squad as Grievous. Then I was stuck under the map with wall hacks lol. Keep in mind I’m on a PS4.

Dooku is really underrated in this game, specialy in duels, and even if you manage your stamina right and have a good combination of star cards you can 1v 2 the enemies and in defence, if you manage your stamina and that third dash its really really good.

Im between attacking and defensive im more of a “waiting for openings and counter” kind of player
