I think a good blend of the house destruction from 1 and 5 and the levolution from 4 and hardline would be cool. Also I kinda hope they keep fortifications. I love digging trenches, building junk walls, and making sandbag nests

It is the law to have at least one fuel tank blow up especially if it's a train car

The sound design in this game was nuts. All the levolutions sounded so good.

This is just my opinion: The game was NOT a Battlefield game. It was something else. But that doesn't mean it was bad. I loved every moment I've played it. The fact that it's community left the game hurts my soul.

One thing I wish Battlefield 4 did was the voice over the radio detailing whats happened. Like imagine as the building falls on Siege of Shanghai if you could hear soldiers panicking or after it falls them exclaiming how crazy it was or if there are any survivors. Or maybe on flood zone if you could hear a solider ask for command to deploy boats for the now flooded map.

10:47 in GTA ...the crane would've exploded and do no damage to the building

I love this game. Small maps need less destruction in order to be playable. So, naturally, the devs give small maps lots of destruction and give the big ones none.

@@soulgamer612 I agree with you that Activision doesn't care about experimenting or improving on their formula since the annual releases. Why even bother even? Every COD game (except for Warzone (bc. Service-Game)) becomes obsolete when the next one comes out. I do have to correct you on one thing though: They don't develop a game in a year; they have a bunch of studios (like Sledgehammer Games, Infinity Ward, etc.) working simultaneously on titles. I'd say they need about 3 years for a title, which is not much nowadays, so saying they are rushed definitely isn't wrong to say.

@@souvillaine5131 fair point, thanks for the correction. Still, it boggles my mind how they insist on cutting short their own games lifespan. A good videogame, if properly supported, can last for decades on end (look at Team Fortress 2 for example) or at the very least for around 4-5 years. Activision is just shooting itself in the foot at this point. And tbh, I don’t think the next COD can handle BF 2042, or the next Titanfall for that matter. I think Activision is in for a rude awakening

Name another cops v robbers game that allows you to level an entire construction crane in Downtown Los Angeles while fighting an army sized crime organization. I love how they took the concept of Battlefield and applied it to another type of “war.” Such a unique game I will always love.

This sort of thing needs way more attention in games. So fucking cool

Dust Bowl actually has another levolution, there's a house in top of the hill that has big tanks filled with flammable gas inside, you can blow them up, blowing up the house in a huge explosion and setting fire to the place

On Xbox there's still over 200 people playing mostly team deathmatch and Downtown LA conquest large.

Hardline did have some really good maps The only problem was the vehicles... or lack of. And the fact that it followed bf4 one of the goats.

Levolution means to drastically change the level in many ways.... Destroying a small shack or a propane tank is not at all levolution.... Falling lights aren't levolution
