Really good vid! I’ve enjoyed this gun with hanging back than I normally do, just be sure to have something to help with CQC like an AP mine or AP pistol ready for when it gets a bit hectic

type 97 was a real copy of the czech mg26. the recoil mechanism was changed so that it was under the barrel instead of the stock so they could cut the stock when used inside the tank.

Sammablam Probably not. The Bren and Chauchat only had curved magazines due to firing rimmed ammunition. 7.7 mm Arisaka is rimless, so it can stacked on top of itself perfectly without a curve.

I just noticed, if you can remove your weapon’s mag without tripping the mag release switch, or even barely bumping it, there’s probably something wrong with your gun...or it’s a missed detail

I missed unlocking this weapon cause i was in holyday vacation, i play support 90% of the time since BF3 and i like to use faction specific weapons, so, feelsbadman i really wanted an LMG for the Japanese 😥

You can unlock it with company coin in your armory if you've missed it. It's about 1200 or so. Look for it where you select your support weapon.

I always thought this gun is the STEN of the support class because they both have the same firerate and feel very smooth. Great vid as usual Kris. I cannot find any other Battlefield 5 weapon guider than you.

Correction, the type 97 fires at 568rpm.

Shame they didn't put the Japanese machine gun with the hopper system in the game

Still havent tried this weapon since I couldnt unlock it in time. And seems like it cant be purchased by cc, yet 🤨 Also, MG's shouldnt have reflex sights in the game. It just looks ridicilous and is very unrealistic.

Try next week it usually allows you to purchase weapons from the previous weeks when a new weapon is available to be unlocked .
