I have a lot of good memories using the Fliegerfaust. Using it solo to take out even a fighter plane was easier said than done, but with a full squad you could cause some chaos. I remember on maps like like Arras, my squad and I used to hang back outside the enemy base all with Fliegerfausts equipped and create full aerial denial. We were mostly just doing it to be assholes, but it occasionally helped our team get some all-cap matches. That launcher was always my best friend when planes became a burden.

bro before they nerfed it, the flieger was absolutely busted - it still kind of is, but man, if you hit every volley as a SOLO player pre-nerf it would 1 shot a plane on a strafe run 100% of the time... good times!

2:00 I am actually a major user of firecrackers. They're awesome. Combined with a fliegerfaust, you can fill an empty field with fake spotting blips, making pilots think it's an easy multi kill. Ive tricked level 500 pilots who have been rocketing infantry the entire match so many times with these. After theyve fired and hit nothing, you can then flieger them while theyre turning away. Additionally, they're by far the easiest to refill grenades, being passively refilled by ammo crates, and refilled up to 4 by interacting with them. Ive also tricked enemies with them more times than you'd think. Aside from the sound and spotting it makes, that brief pause of "wait was that a firecracker? Who uses firecrackers?" Can add to the effect. The sound, while obviously distinctive, can also be used to cover for silenced weapons too. I swear by these things man.

the Dopple Shuss is my go too spotting tool, Unlike Regular Flares, they stick to walls, surfaces, and vehicles, Zimmerit including. You can use enemy tanks to spot their own team mates for your own team. In maps like Province, you can stick Shuss flares to buildings and as long as you have it stuck to the highest point of the building you can still have a decent reveal area for spotting.

I just use the Shuss Flares aggressively to push caps and force enemy players to move, or stay spotted until the flares go out. Once you use them more, you can get creative with how you distribute the flares to get the most coverage out of them, or make it confusing for the enemy team to understand what your trying to do.

You’re right about the pistol flamethrower being spam-able. It’s my preferred option when enemies are hiding bushes or behind a short wall. Really adds to the chaos and brings back memories of battlefield 1

Oh dude I love the Doppel Schuss. If you fire it up in a high arc is has the same reveal distance as the flare gun, but travels farther, never gets shot down, and you get 4 of them. The big reveal only lasts a few seconds before it lands of course, but usually that’s enough. And having 4 means you can periodically fire them out in volleys, or in multiple directions, for some absolutely ridiculous coverage like a wave of detection. That’s not even to mention it’s intended use against tanks or to hide them on a building corner or something. One of my favourite strats is to camp the outside ammo box on Underground, popping off a steady stream of flares over the top of the map and putting up decoys in the mean time. With effectively 8 flares you never run out. Get ready to rake in thousands of points in spotting assists. Dumb, not super useful, but very fun and different.

It's honestly better than the flare gun in some aspects, most players if spotted they look up for flares but with the Doppel schuss it's already past or on the ground. Plus it's great for clearing houses, since it's small radius is large enough to cover most houses without exposing the flare

The PIAT feels like a spring-loaded bomb catapult because that's precisely what it is

I started playing last week, and the lunge mine is the best thing ever. whenever i'm not playing medic with the tromboncino i'm running at tanks with all the explosives i can carry. We have also figured out that you can put someone with a lunge mine on the hood of a jeep and basically joust with tanks.

You can bipod mount on the ammo and medic boxes. Surprisingly useful when using MMG, not so much on medic unless you're playing passive with supports.

Ah, good idea. I don’t know if the topic is exactly tier list material, just a lot of subject matter to cover when the only thing being analyzed is cosmetic, but I also didn’t think Gadgets and grenades were Tier lost material either so who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I remember the Flieger use to be scary when it first came out. That bitch could hit you SOOO far while in a plane they had to nerf the range a bit. Even though an up close shot is almost always guaranteed a kill.

Tbh, although ive never played this game (though i wish i could), i can say that the bandages would fit exactly into how i like playing medic. Just run around healing and rezing people while keeping everyone topped up on healing supplies of there own. Congratulations on finishing all the classes as well, been watching from the start and loved the style of cometary.

The fliegerfaust and lunge mine are beyond S tier for me, and the fact you can carry both at the same time as assault is just marvelous. The only reason i ever play assault is to be an absolute pest versus vehicles

You are a man after my own heart, you know that? Anyone who takes fucking up vehicles seriously is an angel in my book, and disliking mines is just another point in your favour. When using the lunge mine as a Support, it's helpful to carry ammo crates. You can drop it right after impact to immediately get another lunge mine, and if the enemy tank isn't paying attention, it'll be absolutely ruined after the second hit. EDIT: Oh, you've already said that. Told you we were on the same wavelength. Speaking of ammo crates, I preferred using the _pouches_ back in BF1 because they actually reloaded _gadget_ ammunition instantly, a fact that very few people actually seemed aware of. Very useful when supporting anti-tank efforts. In BFV, the pouches are limited to bullets, but are still useful for maps without significant vehicle presence and for just keeping fresh spawns stocked up.

Fun fact: real Life the P.I.A.T was designed as an Anti-tank weapon that fired a large 85mm Anti-tank shaped Mortar that was propelled from the launcher by a rather robust spring and a propellant Charge at the base of the Mortar. To load it you have to put the thing on the ground standing on its stock and dead lift the rest of the gun upwards to put tension on the Spring which was vary hard to do because of the robust spring.

Awesome vid. Curious if you are planning on doing a tank tier list? I find the tanks really interesting in this game

The sticky grenade is underrated. I usually will throw it at the back of a tank or at infantry as I run by, by the time they turn around my team can use that chance to push. Though most usually it gives me a chance to ambush infantry and distract tanks for a while. The range and delay can be GREATLY utilized.

Just wanna say thanks for these videos. Hope you do some more in the future. I’m a new player to this game and it’s way different from battlefield 1 lol! Being a support main on the KE7 as of right now. A video idea or maybe something I ask is of how to deal with airplanes. I get spawn killed, I get killed on AA defense, and my AA tanks get instantly killed before I can shoot planes down. Ruins my night. Wondering what strategies I have against planes. Cheers

Well, as much as I loathe to admit it, planes getting free kills on you will always happen. I don’t dabble much in being a pilot or anti-air strategies. I think probably the best deterrent is having good pilots on your team that will keep the enemy planes occupied. Otherwise, from the ground I think the good old fashioned emplaced AA guns are about the best option you have. They have good damage and outrange pretty much everything the planes use. It’s just a matter of keeping your ears open to hear them coming, and even keeping track of individual planes if they’re being a real nuisance. If the AA gun isn’t next to terrain that lets a plane sneak up on you, again you have a range advantage. Just be sure to use one that isn’t near where any infantry fighting is happening, otherwise they might take you out pretty easy.

Love the vid, although i gotta say i disagree on the ''no effort needed for mines'' i often play sneaky assault / recon and placing mines in the spawn routes can be really satisfying, especially with chokepoints like bridges. It never fails to make me smile when i get a full squad kill i jeep which just spawned across the map

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned already, but it’s funny what you say about Firecrackers. There’s a Decoy in BF4 that functions far better, being something you set down and makes the sound of a mix of gunfire for a pretty long while, but just like you said- players pretty quickly catch on to the distinct sounds and bursts and identify a Decoy almost immediately. Ends up being a noob trap at best, and pretty useless at worst.

Imagine being one of the guys who manages munitions in ww2, only to find out your guys are rapidly running out of bazooka shots because they're all using the backblast to kill a single guy

That’s because the PEAT isn’t really rocket propelled when you first shoot it, you’ve got to pull back the backstock to cook it as other times. It will just Ricco itself and recoil so it’s more like shooting and mortar out of a spring loaded canon like you said since it technically doesn’t use any rocket prop repellent

I loved that the bazooka had 5 shots instead of 4 and basically shot straight ahead

Whilst having super good burst damage against a tank is amazing, I love being able to spam the AT Pistol at defenses, houses, and fortifications. Especially when you get to a house with a camping sniper or two and you just want to level the whole thing and send em scurrying like roaches.

1:54 Firecrackers is a fake grenade, you throw it and you rush enemies. ;)

Anti tank bundle grenades and suicide stick is not a combo I thought of..but when watching the footage that combo is scary OP. The tank is dead before they even know what happened.

i remember using a fliegerfaust on the norway map in a spot people flew planes over alot and just shooting them down as soon as i saw them. 10/10 i recommend

You really should've included the katana and the flame thrower that you can get on some maps.

About the fleiger Faust vs aa gun. The fleiger can two shot most planes, AA guns have to constantly pepper their enemy. And the Faust allows you to be way more hidden and unpredictable, the aa guns make you extremely vulnerable to snipers, other planes, and even the plane you’re attacking

Mines are fun cause tank players and half-tracks rushing the front generally take predictable paths (on Aerodrome especially), so just throw a couple of those in one key path at the start and you'll eventually get a *Vehicle Disabled, +250 Score* notification out of nowhere, which is always funny.

I'm glad to hear you like my videos so much! Whether it's worth it in 2024 is really up to you, I think the game stands up well and there are still plenty of players and servers. It's gunplay feels more smoothed-out and less stiff than BF2042, and if you ask me it's maps are better than BF1's. The all DLCs included version of the game goes on sale from time-to-time for a very good price, and I would recommend getting nothing less than that, since it will give you immediate access to more gadgets/guns and stuff.

There is,or was, a grenade similar to firecracker back in Planetside 2. I get what the devs tried to do, since faction weapons have different sound effects,but never quiet manage to make it worth over standards or emp nades. It suffer from the same issues like BF V. Too little noise to be worth of notice during flights,a semi worthless blip on map, and that was it

Maybe a couple of vehicle tier lists, one for planes and one for tanks?

Unfortunately I use planes and tanks almost never, but I know someone who uses them a lot more who may be making his own tier list, and if that code comes out I expect it to be pretty entertaining, so I want to leave it in his domain.

Maybe include the support's repair tool? Not only can it repair vehicles, it can also rebuild AT and AA weapons, as well as becoming a desperate melee vs vehicles (i may or may not have melee'd a tank or two successfully)

Thanks for doing this video. I just was searching for some information about how some of those gadgets work, without actually doing dumb testing of all of them. Turns out a lot of them actually shit and I done right for droping them. AP mines on medic actually can be helpfull as a mine that you can place just around a corner or somewhere sneaky and it works as early warning perfectly for me. I don't like smokes most of the time because most of the team are dumb enough not to abuse the moment of cover or stop shooting in the direction where they saw enemy running just a second ago. And when mine goes off I can hit an Enter button and say in a team chat "E", and hope that somebody at least reads it and can use that information. Anti-tank in this game is total BS. I like more BF3 and BF4 approach of there is one specific class that can very fast replanish it's ammo for rocket launchers and can hit tank 4 times to the front or less anywhere else and destroy it, while tanks can use their mostly flat shooting projectiles and stay the fk away or die trying in close proximity to the engineers. In BF5 almost every vechicle encounter is a meme of planting C4 on the tank and running around, which is not very reliable for me.

i am offended that sticky dynamite isnt S-tier purely because of how effective carbombing is. get a homie to stack dynamite on a car with you and set it off just as you make impact with a tank. its honestly overpowered, you can get across the entire map in a few seconds and instantly kill a tank with the force of 6 sticks of dynamite

@@givemeajackson i would also like to state that actually ramming the tank doesnt rly make it more effective, jus guarantees that the tank will collect all of splash damage. stealth is absolutely key sometimes and i cant count the amount of times we've slowly driven our jeep behind a tank and just love tapped the engine before setting off the nuclear bomb that is our car

Gotta agree, it’s really fun, but to be honest I think my friends burned me out on Dynamite. There was a while when I had to dedicate tooooo much time to making tanks fly.

You should try bf1, it's very similar to bfv but is dices last Passion project. Maybe even just make video of you playing the game.

Med crate passive heal can make you survive some weapons spam at certain ranges, because ot would outheal some damage dealt before next bullet comes. Also its great of you want to be that stealth medic but still want to heal teammates far away from you

The doppleschuss is good in like...1 situation. That being areas that are exclusively indoors. Its very good on operation underground or anywhere else you cant shoot a flare in the sky.
